  1. We were having a poor season when he was sacked but I think we had quite a few injuries, apart from that year his record was decent I thought.
  2. Very well put StDunko.
  3. That's a load of nonsense, Suarez was using his skin colour as an insult the wording makes little difference, neither does where Suarez is from. Whatever wording they use in his home country Saurez knows full well that n!gger is offensive to Evra, that's why he used it.
  4. ...
  5. I fail to see how any of those chants are homophobic, in fact it is probably the homophobic among the Brighton fans that complained. You have to despair at the Hampshire plod, wasting time and resources on stuff like this. It sort of helps justify the Torie's cuts - it's tax-payers money paying these idiots to do this.
  6. Don't let the foreigners in, let the employer decide on a wage that will attract the right English person.
  7. I don't think it's a case of toeing the 'party' line, more because of the fact that race hate is a serious problem. I think when people are discriminated against because of the colour of their hair, or stabbed to death for being fat then you could say they are the same thing.
  8. It's easy to dismiss the unemployed English as lazy but fact is the sh!t wages these immigrants work for are not sh!t in their country. I don't blame unskilled people for claiming benefits if they are just as well off doing that instead of cleaning bogs for some sc*mbag boss. Fact is, whatever job any of us on here do there will be someone from some other part of the World willing to do it for half/quarter the wages. Doesn't make us any more or less hard working.
  9. The country he's from is racist so it's OK?! What a c*ck.
  10. There is little/nothing any football fan can do. I still think it's right that fans should be able to question the business people running their clubs though. I expect many, from Man U down to Bournemouth would agree.
  11. A statement released unusually promptly!
  12. I think these dinners are a good idea but not having a forum is a bad idea. I don't know why the usuals are wetting themselves again, no one is saying Cortese is doing a bad job.
  13. Love Cortese's ambition, we are definitely lucky to have someone like him running the club. All these, "my mate said" is just second hand rumour though, as I said it would be much better if questions were asked at a fans forum and all replies were on the record from the horses mouth. Also, bit of a coincidence that one of the people who got an invite was some happy clappy mong who hangs round the training ground to have pics ytaken with the Chief Exec!
  14. The important thing is for the jury to just look at the evidence in front of them and ignore all the media hype. There is a danger that they will feel under pressure to find these guys guilty because of the race issue that surrounds it.
  15. To be fair plenty of Indian and Chinese restaurants choose their staff based on the colour of their skin.
  16. I don't have a problem with ass-kissing, Cortese more than deserves it, he has done a wonderful job. I don't have a problem at all, just think the fans forum was more transparent which can only be a good thing.
  17. Exactly, if Cortese buys me a nice dinner and gives me wine I'm not going to be rude and bust his balls about some ticket tax or parking charges. That's why the public forums are a good idea, let the sad mongs ask the awkward questions and everyone hear the answers.
  18. Apparently I have a low sense of anger. Load of nonsense, all sorts makes me angry I just didn't give a sh!t about half their bull**** scenarios.
  19. I agree, they should do both. You do get nutjobs at the forums but they have just as much right to ask questions as those at these meals. Plus it's not hard to spot those with agendas. Things are going well now so it is not a big deal but if in 3 years time we are sold to a Russian gun-runner we might look back and wonder why no one actually asked what their plans for the club were.
  20. I thought it was better when they held open forums where anyone can ask questions and the replies from the horses mouth were reported in black and white. With these cosy dinners you just get rumours about what was said so there can be no direct quotes - you can only guess what was really said, plus the people who attend are put in a situation where it would be rude to ask really challenging questions. And yes, I bet there are not many Northam stand ST holders from Shirley invited.
  21. What, the half billion pound potty that was supposed to be built on reclaimed, Royal Navy land by a Russian gun-runner! I would love to see how those figures add up!
  22. No one will ask challenging questions, that's why Cortese holds these cosy little dinners with hand picked fans. It will be an evening fine dining, wine and copious obscene bum kissing.
  23. There is no doubt that the EDl and BNP have a large amount of racist thugs as supporters, that doesn't mean there is not a valid cause behind the movements though. The rights of british people in areas swamped with immigrants should be protected, they shouldn't be expected to have other cultures imposed on them in their own country and expect to say nothing and just put up with it.
  24. There was one black girl at my school, she let a fifth year stick a rounders bat up her fanny behind the science block.
  25. Any form of racism is dumb but I can understand people getting p!ssed off when they see their way of life being eroded, local services over stretched and lack of jobs due to immigration. I lived in a very diverse area of London for 5 years (Totteham, Wood Green, Enfield areas), my lasting impression was that the ethnic minority areas were crime ridden, the local whites very racist.
