My mate went to one of the bum-kissing meals and he said Cortese mentioned it, he told me a few details but I was too p!ssed to remember.

What are you public sector lot up to on Weds then?
aintforever replied to JackanorySFC's topic in The Lounge
I think the people striking are behaving like a bunch of spoilt babies, the private sector have taken a hit so should they. Having said that I support their right to strike. The banks and big business threaten to move abroad to avoid paying what they should, it's only right that the public sector can use strikes in a similar way. -
Portsmouth away tickets - ballot reopened!
aintforever replied to hypochondriac's topic in The Saints
I don't think that would be very likely, turnstiles are there for a reason. Letting the plod just open the gates doesn't have a good track record. -
Shocking news, thoughts go to his family and friends.

Doesn't surprise me, Bristol is a dump.
-
Rich people pay more tax shocker.
-
We need to just get out of that dump and leave them to get on with their own sh!tty tribal wars.

How many 1/2 Season Tickets could we sell?
aintforever replied to JackanorySFC's topic in The Saints
We are 5 points clear at the top, have won every single home game - why would the club offer a discount on the last 10 tickets? -

Every time I have done one of these dumb ballots I have got a ticket and I go to an away game once every blue moon. "extended the ballot application" - what a load of old ****e, just sell the tickets to whoever wants them. if someone wants to go badly enough they will queue up, if they don't they won't. -

I've applied but Im not that bothered wether I get them or not. I'm starting to think that maybe a day in the boozer and £42 worth of beer might be more fun that a day being pushed about by Hampshire Plod. -
They are going to try to put people off applying, they are the f*ckers who are going to have to sift through the applicants.
-
No chance, this is Hampshire Plod we are talking about - that guy sounds like way too much hard work. All they wanted was a couple of arrests to get some publicity and make an example, doesn't matter who it was. I expect a couple of soft looking blokes joined in "we can see you holding hands" and got nicked.

My mate went. She said there were mumbles and wispers, then she said "I don't like it" and a kid started crying.

ricky lambert is he good enough for the prem ?
aintforever replied to killer fan's topic in The Saints
Easily good enough. -
We were having a poor season when he was sacked but I think we had quite a few injuries, apart from that year his record was decent I thought.
-
Very well put StDunko.

That's a load of nonsense, Suarez was using his skin colour as an insult the wording makes little difference, neither does where Suarez is from. Whatever wording they use in his home country Saurez knows full well that n!gger is offensive to Evra, that's why he used it.

I fail to see how any of those chants are homophobic, in fact it is probably the homophobic among the Brighton fans that complained. You have to despair at the Hampshire plod, wasting time and resources on stuff like this. It sort of helps justify the Torie's cuts - it's tax-payers money paying these idiots to do this.

Don't let the foreigners in, let the employer decide on a wage that will attract the right English person.
-
I don't think it's a case of toeing the 'party' line, more because of the fact that race hate is a serious problem. I think when people are discriminated against because of the colour of their hair, or stabbed to death for being fat then you could say they are the same thing.
-
It's easy to dismiss the unemployed English as lazy but fact is the sh!t wages these immigrants work for are not sh!t in their country. I don't blame unskilled people for claiming benefits if they are just as well off doing that instead of cleaning bogs for some sc*mbag boss. Fact is, whatever job any of us on here do there will be someone from some other part of the World willing to do it for half/quarter the wages. Doesn't make us any more or less hard working.
-
The country he's from is racist so it's OK?! What a c*ck.

There is little/nothing any football fan can do. I still think it's right that fans should be able to question the business people running their clubs though. I expect many, from Man U down to Bournemouth would agree.
