  1. The next appointment is going to say alot about the new owner's resources/intentions. I'm tempted to put a few quid on their relegation, the odds will tumble as soon as they announce some Russian unknown as manager.
  2. Pardew obviously fell out with Cortese, it's not rocket science - both have almighty egos. I wouldn't take much notice of the OP, my mate works at SMS and they generally know about the same as bloke down pub about stuff like this.
  3. Excellent, much rather watch England without the fat chav ***t in the side. having said that, if the c*nt makes it on the plane just for the latter stages I will be p!ssed off.
  4. Fact is if it's OK for Israel to have nukes then it's OK for Iran. Just because the west are friendly with Israel makes no difference, we have no right to say who has what weapons based on who we like. If Iran has nukes the US will just have to accept the fact and shut the **** up. The US know that with the inevitable upcoming energy crisis any country with large oil and gas reserves are going to hold all the cards. I actually hope Iran has nukes because it might warn the US off another oil based massacre.
  5. I had a p!ss next to him once, in the director's guests room during the Poortvleit days.
  6. The US is obviously after more oil, what is happening now is a carbon copy of the pre-Iraq years. Iran has every right to have nukes BECAUSE of countries like the US. If Iraq actually had WMDs the war would never have happened.
  7. I can't decide wether Cotteril is doing a bad job or an OK job in a terrible situation. There is a chance it could really come unstuck if he leaves, it depends on the dressing room. I think we can trust these russian muppets to pick a complete donkey of a replacement so him leaving has to be good thing. Not many managers will want to risk their CV down there and finding a decent manager is quite a skill if you don't have a pot to p in.
  8. Immigration has definitely made a difference, fact is if you live in some Eastern European craphole then minimum wage over here is more appealing than to someone brought up over here. It's easy to have a go at the English scroungers but it is understandable why you wouldn't do some dead end job when you will be almost as well off on benefits, ****ing about on your playstation all day and dealing a bit of weed - in a way that is more entrepreneurial than busting your ass getting nowhere making some other c*nt rich. The tories have done precisely nothing to stop immigration or ease youth unemployment though so I don't get the original post.
  9. I wasn't judging you just giving my reasons for not wanting to up sticks and live abroad. I'm like a hobbit, can't see any point in leaving the shire.
  10. But it's not, that's my point. If the BNP got in power in the UK we still wouldn't have a country anywhere near as bigoted as most Muslim countries.
  11. Don't disagree, but that's very different to it being government policy.
  12. I hope he gets off, for the greater good.
  13. No, but most Muslim states appear to be openly racist against Jewish people, and hostile towards non-Muslims.
  14. Nice weather and tax free earnings is great but I would prefer to be near my friends and family. I suppose it depends what you value in life, each to their own. I also don't like how these Muslim countries are often openly racist, homophobic and sexist. They make the BNP look like a intolerant bunch.
  15. Southampton's town planning is shockingly bad, it's as if it's been designed by a 12 year old playing Sim City 2.0 who got bored half way through and decided to f*ck it all up on purpose. Easily the biggest USP of the city is it's cruise liners and marine heritage yet there is nowhere where you can enjoy either. Ocean Village is a mess, Leisure World is an eyesore and this new Titanic museum will be sh!te. Probably some idiot trying to justify spending millions on a pointless new police station by sticking a museum where the old one was. Any Titanic museum should obviously be part of a major waterfront development, some sort of focal point to give the place an identity.
  16. Sounds like a sh!te hole to me.
  17. The thought of players like Terry, Lumpard and Rooney representing our country at the Euros again is just depressing. I think I will actually enjoy watching them get d!cked this time around, at least then there is a good chance of the next manager giving them the bullet.
  18. The aim of the academy is to make good players to make a good team. It bugs me that some fans still think like Rupert Lowe. Cortese himself said he was gutted when we sold Chambo, so was I. It annoyed me reading the mongs on here celebrating getting the money.
  19. Hope the fat chav c*nt gets a 3 game ban.
  20. He will be better than Walcott.
  21. Of course they have to draw a line, that's my point. Making money from a shopping plaza is no different to making money from drilling for oil. You either take into account just football income or you dont.
  22. Exactly, Man City will say the same when their oil drilling department finances some big signings. Basically every single club can pay whatever they want rendering the whole idea pointless.
  23. Surely the fair play rules must just include football income, otherwise all Man City have to do is put one of their oil companies under their name and carry on as usual.
  24. He's a c*nt but I think he would make a good England boss.
  25. I think it would. The British public are generally quite stupid, the AV was clearly a fairer option, a couple of flash ads with race horses in - bingo, game over. Apart from the Clegg factor the reason AV lost was because of the self serving @rseholes of the Tory and Labour party desperately in fear of their safe seats, the public just went along with what their favourite @rsehole said.
