  1. I'm sorry but I've seen the footage a hundred times and the towers clearly give way where the fires and impacts were, the first tower to come down even leans towards the side where the plane hit. The second comes down straighter because the plane hit dead on and obviously took out most of the central core. To suggest those floors were rigged with explosives that somehow could stay intact during the plane strike and fires and then be correctly detonated an hour later is nonsense. The pic of the pentagon shows what a huge target it was, you don't need to be a genius to see that and push down on the controls. To hit it at a specific point and angle would be very hard but these guys didn't care where it hit. The only possible conspiracy theories IMO are: 1. The Yanks knew a bunch of rag-heads had something planned but let them get on with it knowing that any attack would suit their agenda. OBL cottoned on and went for the nuclear option. This would explain any foreknowledge and also Bush's sheepish reaction to being told. He was probably expecting them to just do a standard hijack. 2. A small rougue group of agent pilots infiltrated the terrorists and the rag-heads were as surprised as us when the planes ploughed straight into the towers. 3. The terrorists planned a straightforward hijack but the planes were being flown by remote control. All of these are far fetched but the idea that any more than a handful of people could be behind mass murder of their own civilians is laughable.
  2. What's your theory on 9/11 then, based on the evidence? If the towers were brought down by explosives how did they rig them up without being noticed? How did they manage to fly the plane into the exact point where the explosives were set up and delay the explosion by about an hour despite the impact and fires? If it wasn't a plane flying into the Pentagon what happened to the plane? How did a military aircraft fire a missile into the building in a heavily populated area in broard daylight? Who was in on the plot - the whole CIA, Police, Military, Fire service and American Airlines staff? The problem with conspiracy theoriests is that when they try and explain an alternative you can fly a jumbo jet through the holes in the plot.
  3. This is a tough one for me. I work in the private sector, earn a half decent wage, but still have had to endure pay a freeze so I don't see why public sector workers should have their gold plated pensions protected and not feel the same effects as everyone else. BUT, the bankers are holding the country to ransom (tax us more and we will go abroad), and there are so many people still making obscene amounts of money not contributing anything like what Firefighters do to society. Because of this I actually welcome these strikes, the super rich need to know it's not just them who can hold society to ransom. See how useful your pile of money is when there is no police to stop the looters from helping themselves.
  4. The government had zero motive for 7/7, we were already in Iraq and Afganistan. Anyone who thinks they are behind it is a nutjob.
  5. Is there any to say it wasn't aliens?
  6. What evidence do you have that they were manipulated?
  7. The idea that an American military plane fired a missile into the Pentagon in broad daylight is just way to bizzare to believe. It would just take one Japanese tourist with a camera to blow the whole thing wide open. Anyone who believes it was anything other than a passenger plane is an idiot. There is not enough precedent for planes being flown purposely into large buildings to say the hole doesn't look right etc. IMO the ONLY possible way 9/11 could have been done by the Americans was if a small group of agents infiltrated the terrorists and were flying the planes. If someone comes up with the passenger lists including names of known Israeli flight trained agents on then I might believe in a conspiracy. Rigging the twin towers with dynamite, shooting missles at buildings - all way to unbelievable and impossibly risky.
  8. Toys out the pram again. Pointless b*ll*x.
  9. The team are playing well so you're not allowed to moan. You should pay your £3 tax and skip down the road clapping your hands thanking god you still have a football team to watch.
  10. He actually looks like a troll.
  11. The controlled demolition theory is complete nonsense. The buildings gave way at the exact point where the airliners struck- you would have to set up the explosives at the correct floor, then get the pilot to hit the tower at the correct floor, then somehow make sure all the detonators etc worked an hour or so later despite the building being completely wrecked and on fire. Plus to demolish a building that size the explosions would shatter every window for miles. The way the building came down is completely in line with their construction and the way the planes hit. All the strength was in the outer steel walls, these were smashed apart by the impact and explosion and weakened by the fire. The reason WTC7 was reported to have come down early was just bad reporting, I remember on the day the risk of collapse was reported for a while. Someone just got the words 'had' and "will" mixed up. When thing like this happen allsorts of mis-reporting happens (at first it was a light plane).
  12. 1. Schneiderlin scored 2. 9/11 3. Berlin wall fell down 4. End of Apartied 5. The Internet
  13. Was at work. All the news websites were crashing so we only had radio coverage. At first it was a fire, then "light aircraft". Then when the second hit everyone realised it was an attack. I thought the most shocking bit was when the Pantagon was hit and there were reports of other hijacked aircraft - you just didn't know what was going to happen next. Very surreal.
  14. Apparently the Forest fans hate him, call him Mcgoaldrought.
  15. Thought Fox was excellent. Don't get the idea of playing Cock at right back, along with Lallana I think he's been our most influential player so far playing in the middle.
  16. I never doubted that Lambert could cut it at this level. You don't need to be a sprinter to be successful at any level if you have the skills.
  17. Good shopping, the Doumo is worth a visit, San Siro is spectacular. Prefered Verona and Venice though.
  18. Bridge and Lallana down the left - yes please.
  19. I agree, greed has become the norm. I give a bit to charity and trust my taxes to do some good but I could do alot more.
  20. I don't agree with hand outs to the lazy, the government should be much tougher and force people to work. We all have to pay tax though, if any tax breaks are given it should be for the lowest paid then it might actually help get people off their asses.
  21. I'm not worried, I just think the world is sick with greed.
  22. I do, and I don't moan about paying tax because the society that allows me to earn my wages relies on people paying tax.
  23. It's a sick world where people earning over £150,000 a year moan about paying a few extra percent in tax whilst half of Africa starve to death.
  24. Sod the blurs, it's the cum shots on the ceiling I would be worried about!
  25. I'm not fascinated by their private lives but it's rammed down our throat by the media every day. Rooney's greed, arrogance and lack of morals sums up much of what is wrong with today's society IMO. Something are more important than how well someone can boot a ball round a field. It is a dilemma because I have always been a big England fan, but I just can't get interested in it at the moment. When I watch the England rugby, cricket or athletics team I get more of a sense of pride even though I don't enjoy the sports as much. Because I respect the people involved.
