If it's not a fake the mother in law has serious issues. Sounds like the typical English snobby c*nt most people despise, I expect the girl was winding her up on purpose.

Or he's just taking his time deciding where he wants to go, nothing wrong with that.

Which generation had it hardest? Part 1 Baby boomers
aintforever replied to revolution saint's topic in The Lounge
At least with the next generation of oldies we won't have to put up with the "I fought the Germans for you" comeback, we can just tell them to shut the f*ck up and pay for their bus ticket. I think life has got much easier and will continue to. All this debt nonsense will just go away when the US default on their trillions, the governments around the world will just decide that no one actually owes anything. -
I'm surprised at how many oldies are on here.

What's the worse job you've ever had?

Whilst at uni I worked as a hospital porter which involved taking corpses to the morgue. Saw some pretty grim sh!t, one of the worst was when my mate who was off his head on speed accidently slammed a dead woman's head in the fridge door. Being asked to take a "kentucky" from the maternity ward wasn't much fun either, you don't want to know what that is. -
iF THEY DONT' WANT TO PLAY FOR SOUTHAMPTON WE DON'T WANT THEM FFS
aintforever replied to AndyD's topic in The Saints
All this "want to play for Southampton" stuff is b*ll*x. Footballers will play ANYWHERE for the right money, pay good wages and you get good players. None of the players we currently have are here because they love the red and white, they are here because they are paid well. -
They really do conform to the stereo-type of thick Skate inbreds don't they. What exactly is the point of protesting about muslim extremists? Especially in a town who's main problem is drunken violence by young English males.

If we wanted him we would have offered more. I expect you have to make an offer of some sort to make it go to a tribunal. He is athletic but that's about it, a bit of a nothing player.

Insane requirements for staggered ST payments
aintforever replied to View From The Top's topic in The Saints
You do wonder what's going on at that place sometimes. Like last season, being made to jump through hoops for a Man Utd ticket only to be sat next to thousands of empty seats. It's ****ing retarded. -
It is pathetic watching these people try and justify why they deserve their gold plated pensions. Like a bunch of greedy little kids. It is a snapshot of the World in general, it will be funny watching the Yanks try and pay off their trillions of debt. People happily talk about austerity measures but when it comes to being even slightly worse of themselves they are not prepared to give an inch.

"Transfer news high on the agenda" f*ck all happening tomorrow then. Why does Sibley bother with that b@ll@x.

If I went it would only be in the hope of watching some cruel Spaniard have his nuts gouged off.
-
To be fair, the large fart I did the other day probably negated half of it, the effort put in has been very very poor.
-
There's no point saving the planet if it's not cost-effective.
-
Hate that is totally justified. The more I read about what these people do the more I hate them. Like how they force millions in the 3rd World into starvation by p!ssing about with food derivatives, or making millions by gambling on the credit crunch. It's just pure greed, and the amount we get back in tax is nothing compared to what they suck out.

Every single player brought in since Leibherr bought the club have been with the Championship in mind, I think they can all probably "cut it" at this level. Problem is to get promoted, cutting it is not good enough, you need to be better than most of the others. There is no need to panic, we are probably 3 or 4 players away from a good Championship squad. I expect any players brought in now will be with the Premier league in mind, that's probably why it's slow moving - any player of that standard will be holding out for any Prem interest.
-
The football authorities could make another nice gesture to HRMC by throwing the book at any clubs associated with tax evasion.

It is a tough one because there are so many grey areas and each case has it's individual circumstances. But when does Being fearful of a possible scenario actually turn into a scenario? Do you have to wait until you see the knife. Or wait until he turns towards you with it. Or wait until it's held against your throat? The way I see it the moment someone enters your property your life is under threat, wether they APPEAR to unarmed or POSSIBLY leaving the property or not.

Oh come on. Whoever you vote in you should trust to know how to regulate the financial sector. The government are in the pockets of the big banks anyway, wether they are red, blue or yellow makes little difference.
-
I'm not right wing you pleb, I would usually vote Labour except they go on blood thirsty rampages thoughout the Middle East in the name of oil. I just hate all his "I believe we should make cuts, but......." nonsense. Everyone agrees it needs to be done but EVERYONE cries like a baby when they are effected.
-
I'm sorry that's nonsense, the responsibility lies with the lender. The financial sector and government were 100% to blame. Individual people are responsible for their own finances, not managing the country's.
-
I'm not blaming anyone, just think it's right that the public sector do their bit. You appear to have a chip on your shoulder about something.
-
EVERYONE should help pay back the debt, that's my point.
-
No difference to the "I'm alright Jack" attitude of the public sector had whilst companies struggled to survive and private sector workers were being thrown on the dole. It's about being fair and it's fair and right that the public sector should help pay back the debt.

Bizarre, IMO Bridge was our best player in our most successful side since the 80's.
