Great news, about time that rag got what' it deserved. Probably just rebrand it and set up next week but I expect whatever they come up with will be viewed as the same anyway.

Get a striker and hang on to Chambo and I will be happy.

I bet pompey won't send their reserves.

True, but generally if a club is willing to pay more in wages it generally means it is more likely to be is going places. A player will see a club offering them more money as a club being more ambitious.

Yes, players will play ANYWHERE for the right money. If we have missed out on anyone it will be down to what we offered, it's as simple as that.

MoD can't account for about £6 billion of equipment

To be fair it's probably easy to lose a lot of kit when being given the runaround by a bunch of Afgans all day. -
I would buy the company I work for and sack my boss.
-
I definitely remember there being a thread ad most people said we needed 3 or 4.
-
At the end of last season everyone was pretty much agreed that we need 3 or 4 decent signings to do well in the Championship. Now after a bit of positive spin on the OS some people think we are going to storm the Championship playing Connolly up front.
-
While I think we do need a few (2 or 3) signings the fact that we still have Lallana and Chamberlain on the books does show ambition. If we go into the season without any signings I will be a little concerned but there is some sense in giving the current squad a try. Promotion this year is unlikely even with investment so rather than waste 10mill it might be better using this year to gauge who's up for it then strengthen as and when it's needed in preparation for next season.

Would be a good signing. If our strike force is just Lambert, Barnard, Guly and Connolly I wouldn't be that confident in getting promoted.
-
Don't think it would, the players will all be on different wages and they all understand that people who go on frees generally get big money. If anything it would motivate the other players.

I see pfc123 is doing his best to live up to the 'Thick Skate' stereotype. There are so many difference between Saints' administration and the skates, it's not even worth starting to list them.

Great theory but ignoring many facts. To bring down a building that size the explosions would have shattered all the windows within half a mile. Organising a controlled demolition with all the other crap going on and with a wrecked building on fire would be impossible.

Which generation had it hardest? Part 1 Baby boomers

You could support a family on a single wage if you lived like you would have in the 60's (no TV, mobile phone, dishwasher, computer, video/dvd player, holidays abroad etc, plus one really sh!t car). The thing is people today take their luxuries for granted and moan like babies when they don't get everything they want. -

Agree, austerity nowadays means not being able to afford the latest iphone or take holidays to the Caribbean. Life is so much easier now than in the 60's or 80's. -
What a load of b@ll@x, the building had half the World Trade Centre stuffed in the side of it, it's not exactly a surprise it collapsed.

Or the beauty of today's technology being used to expose a rancid old sow for who she is.

If it's not a fake the mother in law has serious issues. Sounds like the typical English snobby c*nt most people despise, I expect the girl was winding her up on purpose.

Or he's just taking his time deciding where he wants to go, nothing wrong with that.

At least with the next generation of oldies we won't have to put up with the "I fought the Germans for you" comeback, we can just tell them to shut the f*ck up and pay for their bus ticket. I think life has got much easier and will continue to. All this debt nonsense will just go away when the US default on their trillions, the governments around the world will just decide that no one actually owes anything. -
I'm surprised at how many oldies are on here.
