International Breaks - Like them or hate them?

Nope, just enjoy watching Rooney, Terry and Cole lose football matches because they are arse-holes. -

I always want England to lose now, refuse to support them until Rooney, Terry and Cole have f*cked off. -
Can't see him wanting to move from Everton to us, not with his ego.

"Iraq Was No Threat" - Former Head Of MI5

Whilst the future energy crisis is the reason for invading Iraq it is no excuse, the energy problems are a completely different matter. It is preferable and convenient for the largest oil supplies to be in control of people we like. It is not an excuse to impose death and misery thousands of people. Iran is obviously the next on the list, label the leader a crackpot, invent WMDs, bingo, you have a green light to invade. -

I know, doesn't mean I agree with invading countries for oil though. -
Blimey, have you been in a coma for the last 20 years?

Iraq was obviously no threat, and Blair and Bush should obviously be tried for war crimes - will anything ever get done about it - no. As long as the west get their hands on the oil no one cares. -
The EDL are a bunch of nut-jobs on some imaginary crusade but banning them will do more harm than good.
-
Should be fun watching them get a stuffing on MOTD tonight. Chambo should have gone to Liverpool, Chelsea, Man City or Man Utd, instead he's going to win naff all playing Wenger's tappy tappy b*ll*x.
-
Should happen, but won't. Cortese needs to grow a pair and do what's right for the club and not his ego.
-
Maybe Cortese looked at the Barcelona model and thought "that's sh!t, I'm gonna go down the tried and tested Rupert relegation route"
-
All this comparison of Cortese and Lowe is b*ll*x. Virtually every chairman up and down the country, and probably abroad wants to develop youth, sports science etc. Cortese would never in a million years make some of the lunatic decisions Lowe did.
-
LOL, says how great his mate Rupert was then illustrates what a circus SFC was when he was there. Clifford is a footballing nobody, his opinion is about as valid as the bloke who runs your local under 12s side.
-
What most people were saying at the time. Alot of mugs on here believed the nonsense Lowe spouted about Woodward/Clifford at the time tho

I think Saturday's game showed we need another top striker. We looked a little tired second half and when Lallana went off we lacked ideas up front IMO. I did think we needed a new centre back but Seaborne and Martin have looked OK so far and with Jiadi as backup I wouldn't be too concerned if we didn't sign another.
-
I am aware we are in NATO, but my point is the US could easily have sorted out Iraq and Afganistan without our help. Why do we feel the need to be the lap dog of the World Police? If we keep sticking our **** in where it's not needed or wanted, yes you could have a case for spending money on trident. Much better stay out of it all and spend the money on other things that are a much bigger threat (avoiding energy or environmental crisis for example). Blowing what little cash we have on a massive bomb is retarded IMO.

I don't see what Poland in the 1930's has got to do with anything but there was a lot of meddling between the two countries and Russia prior to WW1, as for Jim Jong-Il, I don't see why a small island of the northern coast of Europe should bother him if we leave him alone. As for Desert Storm and Afganistan - I'm sure the US and NATO could handle both those without us being involved. I don't think we should run crying to the Yanks but we should look at the worldwide situation and use it to our advantage, of course having no nukes has a risk but the likelihood of them being needed in today's world is so remote it doesn't warrant wasting billions on.
-
Waste of money IMO, the best and cheapest deterrent would be to stop meddling in other countries affairs and stop starting wars in middle eastern sh!t-holes. All this crap about Russia, China and Iran is just paranoid nonsense. Anyway, if they started a war on anywhere in Europe the US would rip them a new arsehole, it would be WW3 and game over regardless of how many nukes we have.

That's how it appears to me, this 'youtube' stye of policing is what helped turn London into a war-zone last week. It might be an effective way of catching people but I would prefer it if my safety wasn't put at risk for the sake of their stats. If it kicks-off seriously on that footbridge over the railway its a disaster waiting to happen IMO.

Including SFC Steward Slapping a Fan (Video of Post-Match)
aintforever replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
She should be promoted for doing that, watching p!ssed up ***ts get slapped by fat moody old bints can only add value to the matchday experience. -
The police really are thick as f*ck, after what happened during the first half anyone with half a brain could see they should have been held back for half an hour. It's not hard to see how the London riots kicked off with dumb ***ts like that supposedly in charge of law and order.
-
4 years inside for posting on facebook! You can bet your life the judge who sentenced them doesn't have the faintest clue about what social network sites are about. I expect it was just be some old c*nt who read somewhere that the riots were arranged online and thought those kids were behind the whole thing.
-
Great stuff, I'm not his biggest fan but he clearly has potential to be good.
-
What a load of b*ll*x, none of it matters, except to a few sad tossers who believe it does.
-
You get the impression the judges have been handing out severe punishments because they've been in a sh!t mood because of all the extra hours they've had to put in. Hopefully a few more will be let out. We all want criminals punished but having an unfair justice system just creates more problems than it solves IMO.
