It's pathetic taking copies of birth certificates, also pointless because the cunning will just get a ticket under a friends name and use theirs. Same goes for the 60-65's, just buy it under the name of an older mate.

To be fair there are probably a few who have done worse than throw a bin, sit on a car and smash a window and not spend any time in jail. If it's 16 months for doing that how long can Barnard expect for smashing a bottle in someone's face? 3-4 years would be fair.
-
16 months is a bit harsh. probably got more because how high profile it is, that's not right IMO.
-
Sounds to me like he wants to come but is trying to haggle more wages.
-
As a British tax-payer I'm more generous than most foreigners.

Only recently though, in the 90's all we ever did was stay up, don't even think we reached a semi. Since then its been new stadium, FA Cup Final, UEFA Cup, relegation, play-off semi, administration, relegation, billionaire takeover, Cup win, promotion.
-
That's all hindsight The fact is the worst possible fate of Coventry is administration, -10 and relegation, if SISU sell them to a billionare tomorrow it would become "obvious" that turning them down was the wrong move because they will have avoided what we went through.
-
It turned out to be a good move in the end but turning down SISU did lead to administration, relegation and -10. Saying turning it down was the right thing to do is the same as saying hiring Poortvleit as manager was the right thing.

I don't give a monkeys about celebrities but sometimes the photography on the front of the Independent or Guardian has prompted me pick it up. I only buy papers at the weekend and then it's always the Sun/NOTW for the sport plus a grown up paper for the news, usually Independent but sometimes another if it looks more interesting. Photography makes huge difference in adding interest to a story plus there are plenty of saddos who would buy a paper because some celebrity has their mug on the front.
-
That's complete nonsense, there is a reason why papers pay good money for the best pics. If it wasn't cost effective they wouldn't do it.
-
I heard from a good source that he was interviewed and decided he didn't want the job - I think that's what prompted Mitchell's outburst. You don't have to be offered a job to decide you don't want it.
-
Unless his mate was the guy fixing the 'Matt Le Tissier Suite' sign to the broom cupboard door.
-
I don't think some people can handle the fact that he was right about Europe.
-
Maybe, but you still don't need a brain to listen to music, any music. It's purely down to taste.
-
You need a brain to read big words. There is no intelligence involved in listening to music.
-
Taste in music is purely subjective so it does.

I always bought the NOTW during footie season because no other Sunday comes close to it's coverage. But I will be glad to see the back of it after this disgusting phone hacking thing. It's been great watching the power of the media working against them for a change, love the fact that some of those c*nts will be on the dole. I just hope the British public are not mug enough to buy into the rebranded version, I'm not holding out much hope though.
-
The 60-65 price hike does stink, if I was hit with a £300 rise I would tell them to go poke it out of principle. My Dad's mate has had a season ticket for over 30 years and he's not going to go any more and I don't blame him.
-
Right about the sport, nothing comes close to the NOTW or Sun for footie coverage. The broadsheets are gash, anything below the Prem doesn't even exist.

Scott Steedman quits as Head of Sales & Marketing...

Whereas by bothering to make a contribution like that, you must have the social life of an international rock star. The club's marketing has been sh!t, no-one is making a big deal of it, just discussing it. -

He was a director for a creative agency whilst at Saint. Not that that's anything to do with anything. -
Last season with Schneiderlin starting: Played 27, Won 12, Draw 5, Lost 10 Last season without Schneiderlin starting: Played 26, Won 21, Draw 3, Lost 2

You must be joking, I thought Chaplow was a breath of fresh air when he came in. At last a midfielder who actually makes forward runs. Him and Hammond dove-tailed really well. Schneiderlin has ability, but 1 goal in about 100 apps tells the story.
-
He's technically a good player but is a bit of a show pony for me. He's no threat going forward, he's not the battling ball winning type. I thought Hammond and Chaplow formed a much more effective partnership. Schneiderlin will improve though he's still young. Stats were not wrong, I just gave the results after the Walsall game.
