Top 50p tax rate damages UK, say economists
aintforever replied to Johnny Bognor's topic in The Lounge
I agree, greed has become the norm. I give a bit to charity and trust my taxes to do some good but I could do alot more. -

I don't agree with hand outs to the lazy, the government should be much tougher and force people to work. We all have to pay tax though, if any tax breaks are given it should be for the lowest paid then it might actually help get people off their asses. -

I'm not worried, I just think the world is sick with greed. -

I do, and I don't moan about paying tax because the society that allows me to earn my wages relies on people paying tax. -

It's a sick world where people earning over £150,000 a year moan about paying a few extra percent in tax whilst half of Africa starve to death. -
Sod the blurs, it's the cum shots on the ceiling I would be worried about!

I'm not fascinated by their private lives but it's rammed down our throat by the media every day. Rooney's greed, arrogance and lack of morals sums up much of what is wrong with today's society IMO. Something are more important than how well someone can boot a ball round a field. It is a dilemma because I have always been a big England fan, but I just can't get interested in it at the moment. When I watch the England rugby, cricket or athletics team I get more of a sense of pride even though I don't enjoy the sports as much. Because I respect the people involved.

Why were we kept in at Bournemouth last year, or Millwall, or Pompey if it doesn't help stop trouble? I don't remember any stewards getting kicked in. Holding fans in works, the plod made a wrong call it's as simple as that. If they find their job that hard they should do something else.

Oh come off it Le God, the Police are responsible for crowd safety. They ****ed up and don't want to admit it. Even when they shoot an innocent man in the head on a tube train they close ranks and have to get dragged kicking and screaming to court to get anywhere near the truth. Unfortunately nowadays their only concern is keeping them and their pals in jobs, any mistakes are just spun or whitewashed.

I don't have a big problem with Lampard or the money any of them earn. I just can't stand Cole, Terry and Rooney. Cole - for being greedy and arrogant, anyone who goes public slates his old club for only offering 55K a week is a c*nt. Terry - for being a class a c*nt for sh*gging his team mates misses whilst having the arrogance to think he's some sort of captain figure. And he's from a family of scum. Rooney - the worst of the lot, too many reasons to hate him to mention. Greedy, arrogant, cheating, whore-sh*gging, chav, sc*m. I did overlook his obvious faults until the last World Cup where he showed the World what an over-rated fat lump he was before slagging off the fans who spent a fortune to watch him waddle around the pitch trying to trap the ball. I used to follow England around Europe but now I don't give a monkeys, when someone gives these 3 the bullet I might have some interest again regardless of how good we are, which is never very good.

"Family from hell" in millbrook! - anyone know of them?!
aintforever replied to Macey_J2's topic in The Lounge
I'm trying to get in the mindset of the person at Southampton Council who thought it was a good idea to give them £2,500. -
If anything those cr@p videos confirm what a load of nonsense it is. Anyone with a real open mind would ask themselves why are these films always poor quality. Or why did the person not film the whole door being opened when there could obviously be string attached to the bottom. And more importantly, why are these ghosts always hanging around in the houses of bored teenaged yanks.
-
I agree with Alps in that I get more enjoyment out of seeing players like Bale do well than England. However the fact that Theo is on our side means I would prefer an England win even if it means I get to smug overpaid c*nts like Rooney and Terry smiling.
-
That's nonsense, my mate is a Millwall fan and Police can do whatever they want because of their reputation. Being held back is the norm for them. For Leeds away the other season they could only get a ticket by picking it up on route at a service station.
-
Just because YOU cannot explain something, doesn't mean there isn't a logical explanation.
-
I'm sorry but this bit is complete b*ll*x. The Milwall fans were ripping up the netting trying to get at the Northam. That is the first time I have ever seen that at SMS, exactly how far do they have to get before they are considered a threat?
-
The Police have a real problem in admitting it when they get something wrong don't they.
-
My problem is that wether there is another dimension or not people say they have SEEN or HEARD ghosts. There is no mystery behind why we see or hear things, it's just sound & light which can be caught on camera as, if not more, easily as it sensed by us.
-
What's your theory on why no one has ever been able to video one ever then?
-
If ghosts existed they would be on youtube by now, it's all nonsense.
-
One of the problems is if you think we need a new player or disagree with something the chairman does, you are considered negative. Some people are scared of having an opinion in case they ruin the atmosphere on the happy clappy mong bus.
-
Biggest load of b*ll*x I've ever read on here, and that's saying something. "night club culture" lol, how out of touch are you?! Young men go to nightclubs, that's what happens, it's 2011. As for Brian Clough PMSL, he's a manager who drank himself to an early grave and was even known to take his players out drinking prior to important games. Seabourne was attacked and the person(s) who did it need to be put behind bars, it's as simple as that.
-
I heard he was a Bournemouth fan, and that's from someone who used to go to games with him.
-
Ask him how having spats with popular club legends helps the club?
-
If they are a different race, it would be racist to let them break the law that everyone else have to abide by. Send in the bulldozers.
