Kids should walk or cycle to school like I did. It's typical of today's society that the lazy fat spoilt c*nts are driven to school by sl*gs in ridiculous 4x4s who not only inconvenience Dune but ruin the environment with their arrogant selfish lazyness.

Will Cortese send adkins on his way should we not secure promotion?

Pardew had a much bigger rebuilding job to do than Adkins, and a small problem of -10. I'm not saying one's a better manager than another, just that there were no clear reasons for sacking Pardew and the start of the season was a mess that could cost us promotion. -

Wrong, you assume Cortese had reasons to sack Pardew, results were not that bad we only lost one league game and that was a fluke (we totally out-played Plymouth). You seem to assume quite a lot, think that makes you the special one. -

Maybe not but that's a completely different scenario to having a manager(with Championship experience) taking us from the bottom of league 1 to promotion, then tearing it all up and starting again when we get in the Championship. -
I can't believe the scumbag got away with a £100 fine, no wonder this country is f*cked.

Some on here, The Echo and Radio Solent saw the Pardew thing coming months ahead at the end of the previous season, there had obviously been a falling out. Unless there is similar evidence it's nonsense to suggest Adkins will be fired if he gets promotion. You might as well say "Sir Alex Ferguson to be sacked if he wins the treble". -

You are right, that idea is typical SWF b@ll@x. -
The thing is not being taken over by SISU meant we went into administration and got relegated. If Coventry hadn't the same would have happened to them. Now SISU are the worst thing in the world because Coventry MIGHT..... go into administration and get relegated. SISU are obviously far from the perfect people to have running any club but to choose administration and all that goes with it is a bit risky - we just got lucky with Marcus.

My mate has been smashing his way through the single mothers on match.com for a while now, he recommends it.

Pretty picture says it so it must be true, can't argue with a pretty picture.

I don't pretend to be an expert in economics but the US might have a bigger debt but with a growing economy they can start paying it back. It looks like the Tories have kicked our recovery right in the b@ll@cks, if/when we go back into recession we won't be able to pay didly squat off.

Cortese would be a fool to sack Adkins if we don't get promotion, it's his d!cking about with managers that lost us so many points at the start of the season. If I were the Leibherrs I would get a new CEO in before manager, Adkins has a proven track record. -
I think he has done the opposite, the economy seems set for a double dip thanks to the Tories cuts, the US are not cutting as much and their growth is better. Wether Labour would have actually cut as much or not is irrelevant, I expect them to benefit by jumping on the bandwagon.

It's not a good advert for unions when in these hard times glorified waitresses on 60K a year go on strike. Unions are a thing of the past, they have no place in today's global economy IMO.
-
To be fair, after missing out on that takeover we did go bust and get relegated, which is pretty much worst case scenario. We just got lucky with Leibherr.
-
Exactly, every club that has gone into admin has had this "last game" nonsense, no one has anything to gain from them going under mid-season.
-
Not looking good, can't see Notts County surviving 90mins of this.
-
True, but I don't see how challenging for automatic promotion can be described as midiocrity, that's is what Charlton and Sheff Weds are experiencing.
-
If we had put the wrong manager in charge and we could easily be where they are.
-
What a load of ******.

Think you are forgetting that Huddersfield and MK Dons have both beaten us this season, plus we couldn't beat Orient at home. We would be favorites, but it would still very much be a 1 in 4 chance lottery.

Saints sign 21 year old Dale Stephens on loan - official

I don't think you are taking Huddersfield, Peterborough, Bournemouth or MK Dons seriously enough. -
It's nothing to do with not letting anything go. I havn't given Lowe a moments thought in years until this thread popped up but that doesn't change my opinion of him. All this "could be like pompey" stuff is ****** as well, if not being as bad as them muppets is a sign of success then virtually every club chairman that has ever existed has been a success. Fact is appointing Steve Wigley as manager of an established Premier League club was, and still is, probably the worst footballing decision ever made by any Premier League club chairman ever. I struggle to think of a worse appointment. Then there is lunatic decisions like making a rugby coach director of football, it's not exactly a surprise that the vast majority of Saints fans still think he's a c*nt.
-
I don't see how the PLC thing can be considered a success when it took an established Premier League club and turned it into a club in administration and in League 1. The new Stadium was a direct result of Sky TV money - that's why virtually every club up and down the country has either a new or redeveloped one. Of course there was a chance of ending up like Pompey but there was just as much chance of ending up like Fulham. The PLC thing was a disaster - the only way forward was through going bust.

Lowe did some good things but he made some utterly bonkers decisions when it came to the footballing side of things. Good on him for chatting to supporters though.
