  1. This is, to a degree, quite unfair. I agree that for a good while he wasn`t very good for us and this, combined with his Skate history, made him a real pantomime villain for many of our fans, but I seem to remember that his form for the few months before he left us was good and he scored quite a few goals. I think that the tide was just beginning to turn for him just as he left.
  2. Were there "less" or "fewer" grammatical errors?? ;-)
  3. errr........no.
  4. Solent today building up for some big news that a number of clubs are after one of our players. Find out who on the Sports News! Turned out to be Jason Puncheon who is wanted by 3 or 4 clubs including one from the Prem! Phew!Just calming down after the excitement now.
  5. Define "wrong".
  6. Ragtime, Billy Elliott, Blood Brothers, Mary Poppins (which I REALLY wasn`t keen on seeing, but it turned out to be excellent), Spamalot (which I believe is returning to The Mayflower next year) and the new production of Matilda (with music by Tim Minchin) is getting 5 star reviews everywhere. Would highly recommend Warhorse. Not really a musical as such although there is a lot of music and song in it.
  7. My N97 is driving me mad ATM. The "c memory full. Delete some data" keeps coming up. I have deleted various apps that were stored on that memory, keep clearing the cache form browsing and keep messages to a minimum. I don`t know what else to do. My e-mails have stopped coming because the memory is full. I`ll be glad when my contract is up!

  9. Sounds quite painful!
  10. Oh, and the Mendelssohn Violin Concerto! Bliss!
  11. I love Vaughn Williams (esp The Lark Ascending which IMHO really does evoke the English countryside)and Handel. Some versions of "Largo" from "Xerxes" make me cry, as does"Nimrod" from Elgars "Enigma Variations". These choices may be somewhat predictable and populist but they are beautiful.

  17. I went on a visit to SMS when it was being built and I asked about under soil heating and I was told that there was none. They decided not to install any to save cost and because we very rarely had games called off.
  18. Interesting little website.
