What a surly schoolchild he has become. After his squinneying last week, listening to his interview today after the Brighton game he thought that the free kick that led to Brightons goal wasn`t a free kick. He thought that Simes elbow on Elphick wasn`t a foul, not to mention Simes breaking the goalies nose by leaving his boot in. Referees have it in for us. All in all, I`m bloody glad that he isn`t our manager. I think that the job would be to big for him.

I don`t know about a luxury player, I thought that he was bloody immense today. Both goals came from his chasing, controlling and passing the ball into dangerous areas. He was my M.o.M. today, followed by Puncheon and Lallana although nobody played badly.

These "quotes" could apply to 99.9% of all football managers. Adkins is no better or worse in that respect.
