  1. So he wasn`t that keen on renewing any way. They couldn`t be bothered to send a renewal so I can`t be bothered to renew. Yep, we really lost those didn`t we.
  2. Pot/Kettle??
  3. This is the bit I can`t get my head around. As an exsisting ST holder I just waited until the details for renewal came out on the website or I rang the club. Renewal was easy. If I was a Saints fan who thought about getting an ST, I would find out by the same methods what I needed to do to get one. Its not as they say (cliche alert!) Rocket Science is it??
  4. I don`t anyone is bashing Stu for the message that he is putting out - it`s more to do with the repetitive (22+ posts per day), obsessive, "I am right -you are wrong - NC is the Anti-Christ" postings. Saying something 22 times a day doesn`t always make it right.
  5. Well done Stu! When it comes to "spinning" a story, Alistair Campbell, Peter Mandelson, Comical Ali and Andy Android should all fall at the feet of the master!!
  6. It was actually "half of 15000" at one point, but then I am being selective.
  7. He has massaged his estimates so many times that he is able to pick a particular post to suit any argument.
  8. So a 40% difference is "slightly more"??
  9. It`s quite simple. There are a number of people who think that they know how to run the club better that the people that run it now, and they are very frustrated. You can`t blame them.

  11. Why is it selective? You posted it and there is no way that you twist the words to make the meaning different. It`s not my fault that you are posting so many different points using the "scatter-gun effect" so that you can also be selective with your own quotes. Just pick on the ones that seem to suit whatever your particular argument is today and ignore the ones that don`t. It works both ways.

  13. Bugger!! We missed out on that one then. What is Pardew doing??
  14. Once again here, the clubs biggest "crime" is lack of communication. They may have very good, valid reasons for not having a TBT match this year, but let`s not let the fact that they haven`t given us a reason get in the way of having another "pop" though.
  15. Hendrix, I think. Floyd were quite "ethereal" with projected back-drop and I felt at the time a bit weird, but enjoyable. The Nice with Keith Emmerson were superb as well. The problem was with package tours like this, the bands didn`t have time to do more than about 6 numbers each. Great, great night though! I also remember seeing The Stones on tour with amongst others, Ike and Tina Turner (who were brilliant!!) and The Yardbirds, at the Gaumont (now Mayflower) around the same time. One of the most amazing things that happened was that I saw the Who and the Spencer Davis Group at the Gaumont in the late 60`s. Afterwards we went into a little greasy chip shop about 3 doors up from the theatre. We were in the queue and we suddenly realised that the short guy at the front of the queue in a large fur coat, buying a portion of fish and chips, was Keith Moon! Stood directly behind us was John Entwhistle. We had a chat with him and he told us that Pete Townsend and Roger Daltry were in the Indian Resteraunt across the road, Great days!!
  16. Nothing wrong with that!!
  17. I`ve tried those. Not very kind on the ankles.
  18. Nelson was not a Skate! He came from Norfolk and lived near Wimbledon!
  19. He is as mad as a box of frogs! Would fit in well with the Poopsters down the M27!!
  20. I saw this show at P*rtsmouth Guildhall in 1967. What a line up for twice in one evening! The Jimi Hendrix Experience tour with Pink Floyd
  21. Is it me or do all of the the latest photos show AA giving his winsome look with the baby kitten "please don`t hurt me" eyes??
  22. Having had a read through this thread. two things, particularly strike me. Firstly, so many on here have carried on about freedom and rights and yet shout people like Dune down, wanting him banned and calling him names etc, whilst those with views 180 degrees opposed to him are treated differently. His views may not appeal to everyone but the very freedom that people cherish in this country includes freedom of speech. There are two sides to every argument. "I may disagree with what you have to say, but I shall defend, to the death, your right to say it." And secondly the anti - Mail/Express/Telegraph stuff. All newspapers have an agenda - the "leftist" one as well as the perceived "Nazi" ones. It just depends on your personal poit of view.
