One point that was made is that you can`t go into a bank and some shops with, for example, a crash helmet or other " identity hiding" items of clothing on. Where would the burkha fit into this situation?? On a personal note, I find it very difficult, and a bit unsettling, holding a converstion with someone whose face I can`t see.

TBF since 1997, all of the Tory leaders (Haig, Duncan Smith, Howard and now Cameron) have done this. This just shows what is wrong with our politicians. It is all about getting power at any cost, and very little about serving the country.

I am a floating voter and I look at policies rather than personalities before voting, although if pushed I would call myself "Centre-Right". ONE of the things that concerns me about Cameron is that the Tories seem to be presenting him AS the party to the public. The phrase "I`ll cut the deficit, not the NHS", with the use of the word "I`ll" instead of "We" or "The Conservatives" is a good example of this.

Yours was the last of a number of posts that used the words "underwhelming", "disappointing" etc. I just annoys me that some people on here seem to have forgotten where we were a year ago and where we are now. I know that football is all about opinions, but let`s at least see the lad play before dismissing him.

We are in League One!!! We have a manager from above this level who hasn`t put a foot wrong (yet!). We have signed players like Lambert, Hammomd, Jaidi, Fonte etc. We have spent more than anyone else in this division. We have just signed a player who played for Liverpool and was rated by a lot of Scousers and has had a couple of good seasons in divisions above ours and you`re underwhelmed! I hope that the powers-that-be don`t take too much notice of the whingers on here who condemn players before they have even kicked a ball for us!!

People have moaned for years about the OS - "no real news" etc. Now that they are trying to break things first on there, people are still moaning!!

I know what you are saying about "RotK" but the whole film trilogy was an absolutely amazing interpetation of the books. It is easy to pick holes but Peter Jackson did as good a job as anyone could do, cinematically speaking. These will always be amongst my favourite pieces of cinema.

I know that it probably won`t go down well on here, but have just watched "Young Victoria". Absolutely superb film! Co-produced by Martin Scorsese! If you have any interest in our history it is well worth a look. Please don`t dismiss this as a "chickflick". A really good piece of film-making.
