Simply because I can't be asked to check, how many players have Forest signed and how much money have they spent in the two windows??

You do all realise of course that if/when they announce the signing of a striker it is going to be one big disappointment......an anti climax no matter how the club tries to dress it up.....I pretty well guarantee a massive melt down on here. My hopes of being pleasantly surprised have disappeared over the horizon with their asses on fire...

An earlier post mentioned "the old days" when the smell of cigarette and pipe smoke used to pervade the Dell, I am also a non-smoker but can always remember Boxing Day matches when the smell was primarily cigar smoke......people smoking the cigars they had been given for Christmas. On the subject of the wooden rattle, I DO still have one up in the roof that was made for me by my Grandad when he worked at Wrights Shipyard in the Docks. I painted it with red and white stripes and used it at the Saints Speedway at Banister Court as well as at the Dell. Great days....great memories.....

Normally, I think that I would have thought it was a decent window with the signings that we have made, but the continuing lack of signing a "prolific" striker coupled with the seeming "being out bid for everyone" issue is grinding the gears....
