I know that "it's about opinions, innit?" and all that, but I do wonder sometimes if people have been watching the same game as me. I haven't been a massive fan of Lyanco....not convinced about him, but I thought that he played well last night. He seemed to play with more confidence. In fact, particularly in the second half, the whole team played really well. Difficult to fault anyone's overall display last night. Sure, some individuals made the odd mistake but overall, I was happy with the performance.

Probably just me, but I am finding this window in some ways more frustrating than usual. It all started so well with the early unexpected signings but it has all suddenly gone very quiet on the most important area...getting goals. Having lost Broja and Long a major overhaul in the striking is required but unlike some of the earlier signings, no real rumours/chatter. I am also a bit confused as to who will line up in defence. Assumed Bednarek would be gone but still here and even Captain on Saturday. I am sure that the powers that be know what they are doing...after all we are the "Cornerstone" of SR.... but time is running out and still some major work to do. Will soon be the first game of the season.

Amazing isn't it? Typical of this forum. If Saints won the league there would be people questioning this and that instead of basking in the glory....

Sadly they (he) just came across as bad losers. Hampshire posted a low total which Lanky should have beaten reasonably easily. They didn't and paid the price.

Adams to me is an interesting one. He doesn't score enough at the moment, but the actual quality of the goals that he has scored is high.....not too many tap ins. I would like to see a showreel of all his Saints goals if one exists.
