Oops.....May have been....but at the time I thought it was ABK..

I haven't seen anyone mention the incident toward the end of the game when Utd lobbed a ball out wide right towards Ronaldo. The ball went over ABKs head and Ronaldo picked it up and set off toward goal. ABK started behind Ronaldo but overtook him deep into the penalty area and launched a superb tackle to save the situation. Superb!

I seem to remember that Ralph said at the Fans Forum that they were trying to sign a forward "to make things happen".....I feel that this is the priority....someone who can make something out of nothing.....

I assume that Selles was being looked at/monitored for some considerable time before being offered his current job? The powers-that-be will be aware of his abilities/potential and could quite possibly be being groomed as our next manager......seems to make sense and much better than knee jerk reactions when getting rid of a manager. It was also interesting to see them hugging after the game yesterday. Starting to look like a proper management team.

I assume that we will be having a rest from the "Wreck-it Ralph" and "Adams isn't good enough" stuff for at least a few days.....

This "news" from the Mail confuses me. IF it is true, {and I am not saying it isn't), it seems strange to me that after the positive things that SR have done (buying the club, refreshing the coaching staff, recruiting Joe Shields, spending decent money early on in the Transfer Window without/before actually selling anybody......all of which the fans have been calling for), they would risk it all by letting any supposed rift between senior players and the manager develop/carry on...

I don't if it's just me. but the more I read this forum,the more it seems that Saints must have the most depressing, negative fanbase in the country. I regularly come on here looking for news/views and a bit of banter etc, but end up being more depressed than I am after ANY Saints game. It was interesting at the Forum last night that although there was a very large crowd there,(much larger than I was expecting), there was a lot more positivity toward the people that run the club than there is on here. None of the keyboard warriors with their "this/he is wank/shite" stuff seemed to be in attendance. They can't have all been "happy-clappers" or whatever the current name is, there last night. I am very frustrated at the way the player recruitment seems to have stalled, but will be patient, give SR, the new coaching staff, Joe Shields and Ralph until the end of the window and a few games more before I go down "wank/shite" road.

Nah......far better to moan, groan and be negative than be patient.....
