Not signing a proper striker. I genuinely wonder what results would have been like if we had signed one....Gakpo??? Having basically only A Armstrong and Che Adams as our main strike force has really tied the managers hands.

So....list of people we now hate:- Ralph Hasenhuttl, Martin Semmons, Toby Steel, Jim the Kitman, Pete the Groundsman, Doris the Tea Lady and now Rasmus Ankersen. Have I missed anybody? Who shall we move on to next?🤔

Did I hear correctly that RH said at his presser that Shields has had no input in the transfer window because the Summers transfers were done before he arrived?

It amazes me how toxic this place is at times. People that have been looked upon favourably (Semmons, Steel Blackmore etc) suddenly become villains and to blame for all ills. Can I be the first to blame all the problems on Jim the Kitman and Pete the Groundsman.....and DO NOT get me started on Doris the Tealady!! Anyone I've missed?? Cue the "I've always said......" brigade ..

To be honest, back in the day, I went through a period of 3 or 4 years when I changed jobs every 6/9 months because there was a shortage of good Site Managers and I kept getting phone calls out of the blue offering a few thousand more if I moved. Over that period of time my salary shot up ridiculously because of this situation. I suspect that this is more to do with the Joe Shields situation than any internal strife.....but internal strife makes a better story/something to moan about.

I remember many years ago driving along, listening to Johnny Walker on the radio. There was a news item about the introduction of Viagra which was just coming on to the market. This was the first record that Johnny played when the news item had finished.....

I have always been in the "Ralph In" club in the strong belief that given more time with a decent squad, he would eventually come good. Obviously, missing out on a quality striker hasn't made things easier (it would have been interesting to see what results would have been like if we had signed Gakpo) but things just cannot now go on as they are. Ralph really did look like a dead man walking at the presser....and I felt sorry and guilty at the same time. I think, however, the time has come. I just hope that the club and fans are very fair to him when he does go. He is obviously very dedicated and has lived and breathed this club since he arrived. I think that he now should go but without any vitriol and hatred.

You won't remain close to the club if you keep asking tough questions.......
