The one thing that can be said despite the location, and snipes about SMS being a flat packed stadium, the design does allow additional tiers to be added without the need for most of the grief the club went through to get a new stadium. When the demand is such then is the time but when the Stadium is not full for the first game of the season why blow 3 good players ticket price for a few empty seats. When the queues are down the street for a few available tickets like in the latter days at the Dell then the question of extension should seriously be asked. The way we have gone in recent years that might not be too far away with a good tide and a fair wind.

A simple thing would be spent £x in the Megastore and get your £1 back very simple and very positive. But I fear that when the head of Customer Services of Southampton deems it un-necessary to notify quite a few folks sat in Block 20 that they can't renew their season tickets, many sat in the same seat for 10 years, as that block is now solely for familys and they are spending over £500 in my case over £1000, your issue with the parking charges when you are spending, to many, a considered amount and my shonky Pasty without doubt will be viewed as a mere spec of grit in the eye from Cemex over the road. But seeing as this thread has rumbled on (with some interference) I shall pen a note to the club and if deemed suitable I shall share any response with all. And Saintbletch that just about sums up my life at School back in the dim and distant past. )

If my recall and understanding is correct from a few years back Halo catering is in someway a sub brand under the Southampton Football Club umbrella. But whilst the formation was announced over the official site, any change into a separate entity would probably not have been publicised. Although their registered address is the same as the Football Club.

Oh and while you are at it why not have a crack at the Food Hygiene assessment team because what they have punted into the public domain is far more damning that my comment on a Fans Web site frequented by a minority of Saints fan. http://www.scoresonthedoors.org.uk/business/halo-catering-southampton-693888.html Wow with your holier than thou attitude they are something you could really get your teeth into ....................... But somehow I think they are out of your league.

Wow I really do have concerns for you, you actually believe that you are the Caped Crusader of Southampton Football Club!! Not only are you conceited but a pure narcissist. But also a sad individual who has obviously scanned Saintsweb just as you would a playground for someone you can pick on. My thread was perfect as "blimey here's a pie eater, oh they are tubsters by default so must be thick" I will show everyone how great I am. You are very clearly demonstrating what you truely are in this thread, but I will not lower myself to your level to utter those words. How can someone with a season ticket who has bought replica shirts, is nerdy enough to buy a programme each game outof habit have an ANTi Saints agenda, someone claiming that a player is rubbish after 2 games that is more anti Saints than a bloke who has commented on the the standard of a Pasty dropping. if you are so powerful and great, you get a decent Pasty back on the shelves of the Concourse Food outlets, other wise butt out and go and sort the person who has decided that Victor Wanyama is rubbish after 2 games (probably just the 1 seen) and voice it on here, as that is far more damaging to the club than my rubbish Pasty.

Capital One Cup 3rd Round Draw - Home to Bristol City
John Boy Saint replied to lickierambert's topic in The Saints
Thought last night when they were showing them beating Palace, that would be an interesting tie, then rather immaturely thinking whoever is at home the other team would be accidentally passing the ball to them or the first 10-15 minutes!! Bugger just realised bloody work will scupper getting to that game!! -
Southampton Football Club - A Blueprint for Success
John Boy Saint replied to mcbendy's topic in The Saints
I interesting read. I thought we sold Walcott for quite a bit more than the £5,000,000 stated fom the outset with the add ons making it quite a tidy sum by the time they were achieved. But then loads of strange things went on when the money was running dry. -
Jeez you really are conceited I thought it was just a giggle, but spouting pure drivel like that you must get really aroused everytime you press "Post Quick Reply". Or is that not hardcore enough "Go Advanced" it has to be everytime. That is worryingly obsessive to believe you are judge jury and executioner on most posts, especially ones that, as you have already stated in this case, you have no interest in. To accuse me of bad mouthing and muddying the reputation of SFC is bang out of order. I take that as being tapped on the shoulder then as I turn round being hit in the face with a plank of 2 x 4............... Analyse that as you mark another direct hit on the wall Chart above your single bed.

They are probably the same ones who depart at 85mins to get in the queue down the chipper!!

Floats about to go under so get ready to strike!! i expect the standard of Pasty to remain the same as it has been, should inflationary pressures see an increase due to market prices of the meat and vegetables found within then that would be accommodated, as has been already stated the previous Pasty was of a standard that is comparible with those I have bought as a lunchtime snack from an independent purveyors of Pasties whilst going about my business in the county of Cornwall. So this would show that the concourse catering people already have the capacity to handle better quality foodstuffs whilst selling mediocre offerings at the same time. As this is a whole new world to you if you would like to get a true reflection of what the contents of this years Pasty resembled please go along to your nearest dairy farm and ask the farmer if you could have a look in his Slurry pit, that will give you an idea of the look and consistency, whilst looking in said pit just conjure up the taste of some sort of meaty gravy. I am sure just the mere thought of doing that is already making a man of your pristine standards wince, and if it is then on page four of this thread we will have finally found some common ground: however I do believe it would not be so simple.

You are quite right, and where our option was for coffee last season the cups sneakily got smaller but the advertised size remained the same this was plain to see if you bought a Bovril which was sold as advertised in a similar sized cup that was a more than noticeably larger than the coffees.
-
I was expecting what I, and others who I meet up with on the concourse pre match, have been thoroughly satisfied with over the past few seasons from the food outlets at SMS a steaming hot "Traditional" Cornish Pasty (without the sweet course at one end before that starts again) which when you had reached the filling you could see Minced Meat, Swede and Potato all seasoned and nicely moist: not too dissimilar to what you would expect to find when you have bought a pasty from a traditional shop in Cornwall. What was served on Saturday was a very pale imitation offered by Pukka Pies with "pastry" that had just enough substance to hold the filling which could only be described as slurry with no identifying solids to give away what it contained. What was previously sold stood head and shoulders above what passes for hot food on the concourse.

Again you are going off piste! Again back to the 15 minutes Again no one is expecting Haute Cuisine! And no, in this case where the Pasty that started this thread is concerned, it is not adequate standard it's has been changed to sub standard! We all clearly know your thoughts on the lesser mortals that pollute your existence and degrade themselves by seeking sustenance in what ever form it might take at a football stadium food counter. Just stop frothing at the mouth with the same frustrations and move onto another thread. This one,as you have clearly demonstrated, is outside your personal experience so really should be of no interest to you and as such precludes you from pontificating to others.

Err no!! Just read lower page 3 of said thread. Thank you in advance.

Excellent News! Well done Rickie. I think Rickie left a very good impression of himself on the England camp, I think he arrived and opened a window to let some stale air oot. Roy & Gary both could not speak highly enough of him.
