He's filling in. I'm sure we'll have a new RB for next season. The Murty gamble did not pay off

I missed the last game of the season 07/08 due to breaking both of my legs in car crash on the thursday. I was gutted I wasn't there but my brother used my season ticket. I watched SSN in a morphine induced hase. It passed me by tbh

The Official Summer Transfers and HCDAJFU Thread
SparkySaint replied to supersonic's topic in The Saints
Agreed. Fonte is pure class. He is so important to us and does an incredible job. I don't think pardew will add another centre half to the squad in the summer as I think that Seaborne will be a bigger part of the team in the future. Midfield has to be addressed and if the Connolly situation doesn't improve then a Striker of CCC quality will need to be brought in. Billy Paynter???? -
I hope they stay in this league. We should try and get Snodgrass or Kisnorbo or both
-
I'm not surprised at all. Went to both games and they were very good in each. Just shows that having the right players who are willing to put 100% in week in week out gets results. Well done to them

Can't wait for this one. I'm only 45 minutes from Blandford

That how I understand it. NC said it in one of his solent interviews. Can't remember which one

My reply to that (in my head) was about how most of you not going to hartlepool on a cold, wet and windy tuesday night. Best chant of that night was "we're only here for the weather, here for ......."

The grass isn't always greener and we have some healthy green grass. I personally like our grass and am happy with the greenarity of it. Its very easy to point out the problems that you may see but we have a decent manager who I am behind. Football is full of chiches so I am going to use my favourite in preparation for tuesday night. “We have to take it one game at a time. " Don't moan about AP saying things like this because it is footballs (and many others sports) disease. I'm sure we'll do well but like many of us we are thinking about Tranmere at the weekend and then two very important home games against top 6 opposition. Huddersfield, Leeds and Swindon will be the testing games in March and I would like to think that due to our new strength in depth that we can win them all. I wonder what odds you can get on Saints not dropping any points in March. Worth a fiver

Who would come and do a better job? Simply answer is no one would. He's been there and done it with other clubs and can do it with us. I am fully behind him because he is honest tells it like it is. There are some people who complain when things don't go as excepted but that is human nature. Are you fully behind AP?

QPR have picked up 5 points in 2010 and have only won one game. They are at the wrong end of the Championship and are looking down rather than looking up. Its looking like Neil Warnock will be their next manager but this is another wasted season for them. They should be challenging for a top spot but they are way off the pace. Continuity is key for success and we are blessed that AP is our manager. We are all 100% behind AP and the players. Not really sure what my point is but I hope that we don't slip into a similar pattern that QPR have as it clearly doesn't work.

I wouldn't have read it if it didn't have its own thread. Thank you very much southbourne saint for pointing this out to everyone and myself. What a great read that was
