A sound appointment for me. A pretty decent track record and I just think he has that something (i.e. a bit of fight and ambition) that we will need over coming seasons. I also think he has a point to prove which we will hopefully benefit from.
-
And he was buying the oranges for half time at M & S recently (unless he's stocking up on Vitamin C to ward off swine flu!!!).
-
First Iraq war and Western troops (mainly American) based in Arabic states (mainly Saudi)??? PS I'm with C B Fry with regards the OP.
-
Ba Da Bing!!!!!! PS I've forwarded that post to Hughesy for his lawyers to go to town on. I'm quite flattered, although he's a bit straight laced so expect a writ winging it's way to TSW Towers. I hope Granty and Baj's Media Liability Insurance policy is paid up;)

That's a terrible % for a school in Geneva!!!!!!!!!
-
Now all we need is a small child!!!!!
-
I'll leave it up too your imagination!!!!! As I said it was on a double that I was witness to his prowess with a guitar;)
-
Damn, there goes my "I'm always right" mantra, got Paul Hughes mixed up with Mark Paul - mind you neither of them made a start for us!!!!!!! Think I have Paul Hughes on the brain though after a great double date many moons ago!!!!! Did you know he can the guitar very well??
-
It was under Jones and the photo (I think) included: Marshall, Ripley, Mark Hughes, Paul Hughes, Beattie & Howells.

Ifyou've only been around since April then you've missed a number of exclusives/revelations appearing on here before they have been public knowledge. For example, I leaked James Beattie's new blonde hair style years ago, as well as Hassan Kachloul's choice of swimwear in Ayia Napa and Wigley's birthaday party at the The King and I restaurant.
-
As you said yesterday (or the day before), I'm always right;)
-
A centre midfielder we have all heard of, Tuesday next week.
-
WGS will be announced or paraded before the Ajax game.

I personally think whatever your contrubution, you should only be entitled to one vote and one chance to win the prize.

From reading this forum recently I certainly got the impression that season ticket sales would start off with a boost, with many on here chomping at the bit for the Club to start selling them. I always thought that with Crouch and others dipping in to their pockets to ensure we would still have a Club to support and McMenemy and others issuing rallying calls, then the minute our Swiss uncle signed the cheque I sensed there was going to be a rush at the ticket office.

Better open up the Itchen Concourse as well and put tables down there (I'm going to get killed for this LOL)
-
With all the multiple identities he could have a table of his own (and still manage to antagonise his alter ego's)!!!!!!
-
As in it will be worth something, as it will be the only shirt ever allocated to him!!!!!
-
I presume Pulis' sponsorship doesn't come wiith any strings attached, like , say, extra money for appearacnces???
-
Seems fair enough to me. You seem to think they were direct under Pearson, which although I struggle to see how you come to that conclusion from what I saw throughotu the season, is an opinion you're welcome to. I may think it's total poppycokc, but it' just as valid as mine.
-
Strange one as on one hand the Club are saying they're not standing in anyone's way as they want the manager to take the decisions, yet last week we signed Kelvin up. IMHO, there's someone in the background giving the nod (hopefully WGS).
-
Indeed they should, so when Red and White Army & Clifford Nelson get the PPG ratios of Pearson's, Wotte's and Poortvliet's tenures wrong, then they should expect to get picked up on it. That's what I mean by facts, i.e. something verifiable and undisputable (not sure what you find so hard to understand about that comment). Not at all, and as my second point says, then if you've seen the player/manager/team then you're totally entitled to your opinion. BTW how many times did you see Leicester last season?
-
Beacuse I don't take it so literally and can see and acknowledge that when the vast majority of people call Lowe a **** or whatever, it is generally a reaction to the way they felt he let the Club down. After all I don't think there is a general requirement on message boards to justify and explain every outburst of emoition. Calling him a **** or whatever on here doesn't mean they're just footballing tourettes who shout and post things without any rational thought process or any semblence of reasoning. Sometimes people will take a long time highlighting his inadequacies and errors, other times they will just refer to him as a ****. Both get the point acorss in different ways. But your continuous tone and line has been that the anti Lowe feeling is less worthy than yours and others, just because in your opinion it isn't articulated as well. It is irrational and bigotted, which couldn't be farther from the truth and in itself is rather irrational and bigotted to position to hold. There's as much merit in being short, shrift and to the point on a footballing message board. This isn't the Oxford Debating Society.

Have never had a problem with anyone offering up a different opinion on a player/match/manager, it's fottball after all, but, (a) if you post anything fatcual you have to get it right, i.e. points record, and (b) it helps to have seen what you're talking about.

He was totally ******* useless. (well actually he wasn't totally useless and he did score some goals and contribute to other games, but this is a football forum and you are allowed to be a bit industrial and forthright)
