  1. Swann just dropped him on a caught and bowled!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. And so has hauritz. Left one that came down the hill and cut back quite a bit from Flintoff. I was apprehensivce at the start of play, chilling out now:D:D
  3. Get 'em up the Sports Centre I say. Up and down the hills, a few times around the steeplechase, then up and down the hills again, a swim across the boating lake and then some balance training on the trampolines!!!
  4. I would just having them running until they puked. Quick drink. Then running again until they puked again. Quick drink. Then repeat.
  5. I think you're right there, in that if it's going bad, then any stick will be used to beat a manager with!!!!!
  6. I totally agree that is impossible to prove and am going on the hope that it might be of of some intangible benefit. It's just a personal thing in that I think it sends out all the right signals at a time when cohesiveness, team spirit and togetherness will be needed to get us moving forward.
  7. There's a couple of blocks of apartments that would suit him well. One is above that cut alongside Junk overlooking Buddha Lounge and Orange Rooms. The other is the new block above the Lizard and opposite 90 Degrees. He wouldn't even have to leave his apartment, just kick back and log their coming and going;)
  8. More like Upper Lordshill!!!! I know Lordswood and depsite how he likes to come across he is rather posh!!!!!!
  9. Agreed, but how about if living down here increased the likelihood of that promotion?
  10. And given the fragile nature of football and the total lack of sentiment which could see him binned at any minute (although fingers crossed he's here for some time as that would mean we're moving forwards), then I think you do have a point. I think his personal circumstances, particualry with reference to family, need to be considered, but I would still be happier if he moved down here for the reasons I outlined above.
  11. It doesn't, but like having a pop at Claus, picking up Pardew for not shaking hands with people and setting up other popular(ish) figures etc etc etc, it makes great bait for a troll to use.
  12. Speculator, Sundance Beast, Flashman at the Charge, Third Bear and a few others
  13. And I have to say I'm with Lordswood and Duncan on this one. This isn't a normal business and the Football Club is a part of the fabric of this City. I think living near to the Club is important in order to ensure you have your finger on the pulse and get some empathy for the supporters and the wider community. I think it also demonstrates commitment to the players and staff. I was much happier with WGS living locally and integrating himself in the community (and undertaking pub checks), than I was with Burley lodging in a hotel and dashing back to his other pads whenever the opportunity arose.
  14. If it's the 1974 game you're on about, then it was definitely the Texaco Cup game. It was my first game and I remember as you say, with home and away supporters mixed in together at the Archers Road End, with the Rangers fans all seemingly pssed. I can remember them lobbing beer cans at Channon and being covered in beer as they flew overhead (or was it pss!!!!!).
  15. The reason is trolling.
  16. No Justin Fashanu then Sundance;)
  17. Maybe you could answer the question with regards posters being banned and then being allowed to come back under a different name? What is the form on that then? Many Thanks.
  18. Of course I have, but prefer that to just being plain delusional, as is the case with yourself. How many identities have you gone through on here so far then??? Have you gone through as many as the number of teams you have followed over the years? Justin Fashanu me up;)
  19. The Nation or The Post??? I'd have you down as a Bangkok Post man!!!!
  20. And the trolling begins. In all your guises, it's always been the same LMFAO. Are the antagonistic posts and attention seeking in any way linked to your "problems"???
  21. No worries & certainly no need to apologise fella. I was sat here wondering if you were being ironic, and I was missing it!!!!! The printed form is nowhere near the real thing!!!!
  22. You're spot on fella, I was thinking of World In Motion which Allen wrote (Italia 90) when I wrote Three Lions (my bad). You're right with the Lightning Seeds & Three Lions and Vindaloo being Allen as well (who also did one with Shaun Ryder, which I think was something like "Englands Irie"). So Keith Allen has a hand in 3 England songs (at least).
  23. I agree, we seem to have been a soft touch in recent years. At last, that's my perception of how the players have been treated in recent years. Back to basics for me.
  24. Don't know where it stacks up in the City League, but I do know it's twice the size of Southampton.
  25. Don't see the problem at all. Definitions can include: Any outrageous assault of flagrant violation An act of plunder, violent seizure, abuse, viloent attack, violent destruction; despolaition An act of seizing and carrying off by force To plunder or destroy All valid enough and just as saying we murcdered them, we slaughtered them or Benali butchered him, none of them are suggesting a henious crime took place.
