  1. He could also get his lawyer to have a look over the quotes and accusations that the mods removed from his initial batch of posts when he joined in January. It was so obvious it was always going to come to this:rolleyes::-#:smt032
  2. So do people really still think they are not the same person:rolleyes: The mods on this site must be extremely dumb if they haven't sussed that out (no offence fellas, but you do have to be a tad stupid not to realise this). Which then begs the question, why haven't the mods applied the follwoing from their own rules? If you are stupid enough to earn yourself a ban, be it permanent or temporary, don't attempt to register a new username so you can carry on posting. If we find out (which we usually do), your new username(s) will also be permanently banned. If they need a helping hand then they need only look at this thread where Nineteen is referring to ding dongs with Daren W when he was Sundance Beast. Here's another one if you want where Nineteen is referring to the "Fashanu" incident which took place when he was posting as Sundance Beast. http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?p=385844&highlight=fashanu#post385844 Maybe one of the mods could answer the question above as to why they are not enforcing their own rules? Granty, Baj, Ponty, anyone care to answer???? For a group of people who helped track down rogue PR posters in Lowe's times and are pretty good and all this interweb jazz, you seem to be rather slow on this one;)
  3. LOL. We took a few packs in coolbags, but considering we were on it from early doors combined with ending well into the evening, (judging by the darkness at the end) we ran out at some point. I was surprised how much we got in a few years back for the C & G as I thought they were clamping down on this. Gutted I'm missing this one as I've always enjoyed the rivalry with Suzzex (will be checking the interweb on a regular basis or expecting texts fromt those going). And talking about beer, I remember the Natwest Semi at Edgbaston and there was a sign saying "excessive amounts of alcohol will be confiscated". When we asked what was excessive, the steward said no more than 16 cans per person!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  4. It's like the days under Chris Nicholl!!!!!!! Nothing to worry about (YET)
  5. And my comments were genuine as well, hell, I've even gone out of my way to provide you with an insight into the weather over there and how you shouldn't be put off by some statistics or websites. Please don't judge me by your own rather low standards. HTH
  6. Oh I see. I was thinking you hand first hand experience as opposed to just surfing the net. Would have been a interesting conversation had it turned out that you knew what you were talking about;) If you had experienced the weather in South East Asia, then you would have found out that most of the rain comes in very short bursts (with most of it overnight). A very, very heavy downpour for 30 mins to an hour, very often as the day draws to an end which can make for a great way to end a day as you sit having a beer on the veranda watching the rain come down. Spectacular storms to watch, which very quickly blow over, cool the evening down, make everything lush and due to the high temperatures, there is pretty quickly no sign of the earlier storm. And even if it happens in the middle of the day, then you have to experience walking in 30 degrees along the beach or even swimming as the rain falls. A rather surreal experience. Rather than rely on statistics from websites, I much prefer to rely on my many experiences if that's OK with you, and my experiences of South East Asia in August have been brilliant.
  7. Don't worry Michael Fish, I've travelled extensively throughout South East Asia over the last 10+ years so know full well the seasons. You'll find that whilst the Andaman Coast does get wetter through June - October, the Gulf Of Thailand has much better weather, particularly the Samui archipelago. Koh Samet is also OK and it's not until you get down to Koh Chang that you start to have problems again with the weather. That said, I have still had great weather on the Andaman side (Phuket, Ao Nang, Phi Phi and Lanta etc) right throughout August, just accept the regular 5:00pm storm and the odd day that might be washed out. Have been around Hua Hin, Samui, Koh Tao, Koh Phanghan many times throughout August and it's never been a problem so don't worry about me. Now of course Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, parts of South West Thailand and North West Thailand can get loads of rain in August, but you often find that this is one of the prettiest times to travel, particular if you're travlleing along the Tonle Sap, want to see the forests at their most lush and also partake in the festivals around this time. The Mekong in full flow and paddy fields as far as the eye can see are wonderful sights. Sometimes I have found the period around Songkran to be too hot and my time in the dust bowl that was Issan was actually too hot. Samet was the same over Easter and we often had to spend most of the day in the shade. What are you basing your experiences of the weather in Thailand on???
  8. They're guaranteed another 6 soon, as our lot still haven't managed to sort theirs all out!!!
  9. I would even wave the bar fines for sotonjoe. I'd tell the pervy Germans that she's good for all things, including doing their washing and housework. Nothing better than a tropical storm, whilst swimming in the sea or kicking back on the veranda. The only time it's not good news is when it trips out the satellite feed as it did in Gullivers, Bangkok when we were watching Saints v Blackburn in 2004. Saw Saints go one up, then it tripped out, when it came back up we were 2-1 down and then tripped out again. Then came back just as we were awarded a penalty, which Beattie tucked away to win 3-2!! A good evening that night and bumped into a big group of Saints fans from Chandlers Ford. Are you worried about the rain making your make-up run?
  10. Not been to Salad beach before, so looking forward to it as it looks quite chilled out, but enough going on not to get too bored. Spent a couple of nights at Bottle beach a few years back in a really basic bungalow, think I've moved on from that now. The Elephant and castle is a trip to South East London for sure. As bad as it sounds, we had Sunday Roast before watching the Saints Man Yoo game back in 2002!!!!! Will have to work out when the Tests are on and get down to the Masons to at least say hello. Thanks for the info.
  11. I'd either get you in King's Castle II or Cassablanca and pimp you out to some fat germans. You can love them long time sotonkatoeyjoe Or we could get you down Thaniya and get more money from the Japanese. I hope you're not too tall. Got a link to any photos???
  12. LOL. Not if we win and want to get out alive. Those two brothers are rather tasty!!!!! Went there with Alex and watched the Saints v Man Yoo game where Beattie did his ankle in really badly. Did Deldago score first, but we still went on to lose. They were honorary Saints fans that day, I doubt they will be on the 8th!!! Anyway, my excuse will be that I doubt it will be live anywhere!!!!!
  13. Leaving Thursday!!! I saw that pub mentioned on a travel forum, but didnt know it was run by a Saints lad. May have to pop in. We're staying up on Salad Beach (Cookies) for quite a bit, but always up for tips. Will hopefully catch up with Alright Dave's mate who I first stayed with in 2002. He certainly keeps the Saints flag flying in Samui (particularly when there's a Portsmuff bar down in Chaweng!!!) Not sure whether to do the Full Moon Party as reckong I'm too old for all that jazz nowadays.
  14. sotonjoe sounds as though knows first hand considering one minute he's a bloke, and the next a bird. Kings Castle II me up;)
  15. You've got a PM
  16. Someone who sends people off on a wild goose chase for links that don't exist:D Someone who posts links that work;)
  17. Have you got a link?
  18. So you've got a female head as well as a macho head???? You're either a Katoey or Wurzel Gummidge
  19. My only comment on this thread would be that I think the OP is being a tad harsh on Henderson. He knows he's not the first team manager and he also probably knows he's light years away from it. He was overhyped and sold to us as a part of a Revolutionary Coaching Set Up by a former regime, when in truth he's a decent member of the backroom staff. He really shouldn't have been in the spotlights last season and has only been filling in whilst someone tried to put us back together again.
  20. So are the two linked?????? Interesting!!!!
  21. Thanks for that heads up MB. Have to say I'm not overly comfortable with dispatching Mortimore to pastures new, but could it be because he's making way for someone new???? MLT for President anyone?????
  22. And then another 5 before the end of Ausgust;) Everybody happy!!!!!!!!
  23. Thanks for clearing up my hazy recollection. I can definitely remember the ball going to our left into the Tavern or Mound stands, but where it came from was somewhat hazy!!! I can also remember the Bicknell brothers, particularly the bowling one giving and getting loads of abuse. We were in the Lower Nursery, right at the back and there were very few Hampshire fans down there in the dark. I'm sure we got our tickets from the ones Surrey couldn't sell ???? so much pss taking went on. Would I be right in saying it was an afternoon of getting cans of Red Stripe from a beer tent somewhere near the Nursery?????

    Sirens

Living at the bottom of town, I get to hear them regularly. As people have said it's that long wailing one you associate with programmes about the Blitz. They were regularly for a bit on Saturday mornings. No idea where they were coming from, so would love to know, we just presumed Fawley (although that's a long way) or some alert in the docks????
  25. I'm looking for "before the end of July";)
