Isn't there a chance we could end up with -30 next season if it all goes against us????? -10 for going into administration after the cut off -20 for not agreeing a CVA (although I think Luton got more than others because they had been here before) Or would we only be up for one of these????

£500K Needed to Keep Going to the End of the Season
um pahars replied to Guided Missile's topic in The Saints
We will have to resign from the Football League and will cease to exist (all our fixtures this season will be expunged). If we started up under a new guise then we would start somewhere further down the footballing pyramid. I think Wimbledon started again at Level 9 (we'd be in the Wessex League Premier playing Romsey & Lymington) and Aldershot started at Level 8 (we'd go into the Southern League Div S & W playing Winchester & Totton). -
We must have missed the announcement regarding the support for the armed forces and when we saw quite a few in uniform in the Corporate section we joked that maybe Lowe had turned up and needed extra protection;)
-
I think the Chairman and Directors at the time were fined and a football ban slapped on them, but it certainly wasn't as draconian at the -10 for dodgy agent payments and a futher -20 from failing to agree a CVA.

Two points here. Firstly, our average attendance during "Lowe's" reign this time was 16,808. Since then we have pulled in 27,228 & 23,220, so a definitive increase of 10,000+ and 6,000+ if you use our average as a yardstick. Secondly, I always thought that the general consensus was that the "boycotters" numbered in the hundreds rather than thousands.

I certainly wasn't impressed by the call to raise £500k by Crouch, but don't think there is anything underhand or surreptitious about it either. We may have the revenue streams and an increase in attendances, but IMHO we are still runnng at a loss and need to fund that loss and I think the call for this money was due to that. -
An up and at 'em performance where it appeared the players were ready to give their all. Palace (like many teams in this division) didn't look great shakes and have to say our team is definitely better than our league position (that's not ignoring the harsh reality, just suggesting that we have massively underperformed). As for points: Davies - 7 - Didn't have much to do, but looked a lot more confident James - 6 - Played OK, but didn't really push on Perry - 8.5 - My MOM and very cool, calm and collected. Saiejs - 7 - Much better than the last home game and got stuck in. Skacel - 8 - Up for the battle, got stuck in and his experience told Lallana - 7 - More involved and well up for it. A couple of wild lunges, but at least he was trying Wotton - 6 - He's just not that good, misplaced distribution but did get stuck in and wound others up McGoldrick - 7 - Very good strike (I'm sure it wasn't a toe punt!!!) Surman - 5 - A shadow of his former self and never really got going BWP - 7 - Ran around a lot, but lacks that finesse. Euell - 7 - Got involved and led the line well Subs: Saga - 7 - Showed flashes of what he is capable of Schneiderlin - 5 - Didn't do much and flatterd to deceve Liptak - 5 - Not really on long enough Worthy winners, just a shame about some of the other results. A bonus is Barnsley being back in the mix. Next week's fixtures Us away at Sheff Weds (won't be easy) Norwich away at Ipswich (derbies can go either way) Forest at home to Coventry (worrying) Barnsley away at Reading (toughie) Get a point at Sheff Wed and hope other results go our way for a change.

£50,000 I believe is the sum Crouch has put in. -
Not in the Itchen South you won't;) You know, where you saw me back in January, despite not sitting there and of course only knowing who I was a couple of days ago:smt119:rolleyes::smt119:rolleyes: You need to be consistent Troll boy. Do you have a number of tickets for your multiple personas??? (and please, no more PM's, you're clogging up my inbox).
-
And for the record, my source of the above information was Rupert Lowe himself.
-
3-0 win with all our relegation rivals losing to get us right back in the mix. Forest away at Sheff Utd so possible, but Norwich at home to Watford is a bgger. Ithink Barnsley are ut of it, but at home to Swansea which is tough.
-
What are you bitter about today??? The realisation that attendances rise and fall due to a myriad of reasons, or, the fact that your understanding of Rule 34 was found to be so wanting LMFAO. Move along and indulge yourself on your new thread (I was going to mention that maybe Rule 34 might have prevented the pay offs you are so aghast about;)). Just let it go fella as your littel snidey digs just show you up to be ever so Murphy's

When Lowe returned in May they agreed a recovery plan and a £5m overdraft with Barclays and the agreement was that as long as the Club remained within a "certain parameters" the bank would support the Club . In September Barclays informed the Directors that the overdraft facility would be cut from £5m to £4m. I think Lowe confirmed this in his recent interviews.
-
Methinks you're getting the two initiatives confused.
-
Nope. All results are expunged. Would imagine one less team would go down (and probably replicate this throughout the next two divisions and maybe an extra team up from the COnference??)
-
Didn't they move the goalposts 5/6 months ago??? I was under the impression the overdraft was reduced by £1m back in early October. If we were OK to meet their £5m overdraft limit, then I would have thought it was not beyond the realms of man to bring in £1m in those intervening months (even if it meant selling some talent in January).
-
Looming at Wotte's CV would suggest he doesn't relly do "long term".
-
It is indeed, but I would also say that appointing sht managers in the frst place is an even bigger recipe for disaster.
-
Were you saying the same in Oct/Nov 2004 and Dec/Jan 2009????
-

Of course dear Troll, of course. You've been making it up as you've gone along since saying it was your first post on a forum back in January:smt119:rolleyes: Trouble is, you're not bright enough to keep the cover story running and it didn't take long before finding out about your multiple personas. Why have you had so many??? Did you get banned under all the others or does Scooby's performance art thingy have a much wider audience than we all thought???
-
Would I have to kiss all of your multiple personas??? Could take quite a while Troll boy.
-
It all depends on whether you're going to do a mass PM again;) Some of the things you said weren't very nice, but we all had a giggle about it. Just what made you send those PM's LMFAO?????
-
Given all your multiple personas and different names, you could collect hundreds on your own. There must be at least 14 of you LOL:smt119:smt119:smt119:smt119
-
Oi cheeky, you knew my name three moths ago, you knew it under all your previous guises so why be shy now LMFAO.:smt119:smt119:cool: You're a troll, simple as that. How about this before we even mentoined UM, Daren, Justin Fashanu and the Itchen South incident :smt119:smt1198-[ Apparently, back in January you hadn't posted before:smt030:smt117:smt117:---)
