He was appalling on Saturday. You could have driven a combine through the gaps he was leaving. Has to be Bree in there next game.
-
I think it’s a front. He’ll stop off at an obscure chippy in Chichester for two quarter pounders along with a large battered sausage to scoff in the Tesla on the way home.
-
Like the Huddersfield forward line but with bigger tits!

He's an unusual player Mara, but yesterday looked very much like the number nine we've been missing, at 21 he's growing into his trade and now coming up with the goods. Languid style and seems too casual on occasion, but technically streets apart from Adams. A player that's hard to pigeonhole - shades of Charlie George / Gabbiadini for us perhaps? Great to watch him terrorise and out-think Hudds yesterday and would bet Martin has him start against Bristol City.

Big physical niggly side Huddersfield and they matched us for fitness and bullied us first half. Manning might have well been replaced by a hatstand, positional sense of Mark Thatcher. KWP and Bazunu both looked a bit out of sorts as did Fraser and Armstrong. Not sure what big Russ put in the halftime tea, but that ten minutes or so after half time was like a fucking blitzkrieg - a remarkable spell in a remarkable season. Rothwell is a class act and a very strong player, a couple of touches from Brooks were on another level, deft and decisive - rare. Edozie a right handful and Mara looking like a proper centre forward, the angle for his goal would have done for Adams, I’d start him v Bristol. Sulemana is mad as a box of frogs but a joy to watch as he terrorises oppo defenders. That felt like the old McMenemy you score four we’ll score five days! 25 unbeaten, remarkable.

If you ever need to reach out Nathan, I’m here…
-
Watched again and beyond parody, the player's faces are very telling, poor sods.
-
Nat would look more at home ranting at a bus station.
-
Was there for that. Great night!

You need to get in touch with the club to write the matchday programme notes. I'd pay an extra 50p for 'Introducing Today's Opponents' with Wade...

Lightning strike hopefully.

Extra time and a few knocks. God willing.

Make of it what you will…

It's level of inbreeding akin to battery turkeys, the juvenile alongside will begin to develop the blue crown plumage once he reaches breeding maturity and IQ confirmed as below 40...

To be honest, if we want to consolidate our USP...

Hope so. A version of this trad number with navy shorts would be rather nice:
-
Matt Hancock and Michael Barrymore.

Quite fancy a cagey draw up there and beat them at St Marys in a replay.
-
Reckon Rasmus is now moonlighting as his agent.

Charlton Chairman: "We’re really pleased to appoint Nathan Jones. He is a Manager of real pedigree who has a track record of building successful teams over a period of time. We were really impressed with the quality of candidates interested in coming to Charlton. Through our initial research, the in-depth interview process and the references we took, Nathan was the clear stand out. He is a great fit for Charlton given his ability to get his teams playing football on the front foot, with a passion and an intensity. He is an excellent coach, who is tactically savvy and an outstanding developer of talent!" Wish Nat and the Latics well, he's certain to raise the passion and aggression levels inside the Valley!

Starting to feel rather like those promotion seasons under Adkins now, though sacrilege, personally I prefer watching this team - the loanee express! For my youngest boy it’s his first season with a season ticket and I’ve been saying for months (to him and on here) to take stock end of January. Also that Saints will need to forget about sides alongside and concentrate on ticking along, like a metronome. For auto promotion in the football league you need a bit of Terminator or Anton Chigurh about you. Here we are. The recent run of games over December and January has built genuine confidence and its hard to see us losing that now, of course we may blip, but likelihood is it will just be a blip not coming off the rails. There is too much quality and pride in this side for that now in my opinion. I also think that we win our game in hand and that by the time we play Leeds we are likely to already be up. Fraser has said the target for this side is now Leicester and I think that’s the internal focus now. So many Saints sides over the years would have lost or drawn those two away games at Swansea or Rotherham, not this team. You could see yesterday that Saints had a second and third gear in reserve and appeared to be conserving energy, the measure of the best teams. Brooks in his cameo looked a class apart, and we know that the likes of KWP, THB, Fraser and Downes already are. It’s in our hands now and I think eyes are on the prize - good times after years of gruel. COYR!

Just jumped aboard the Natty J express at Charlton, his first signing.

Luddite error and posted on the wrong thread of course, but on reflection the sentiment clearly stands. Very content with both SFC and the CoT at present and feeling a lot of positivity from a majority of the Saintsweb community after a challenging start last autumn. Our trajectory seems inextricably linked to Russell Martin! 👊 🙂

Love watching this team, pride back in the club. Business like today. In our hands now lads.
