McMenemy and Clough thought he was worth a dozen points a season - had Keegan stayed (a talisman both ends of the pitch) I think we win the league in 83/84. Ramsdale is not Shilton, but a 26 year old England keeper and would likely be the difference between struggling to stay up and settling into mid-table first season back. I really hope that they have the minerals to do the deal, as difficult as it may be.
