Don't forget Hug-a-Hoodie's attempt to get down with the yoof and his LOL

Why would anyone boo anyone? They're just wage earners going for better prospects, something we've all probably done at some time. OK their rewards are much greater than anything most of us will ever realise, but the principle's the same, surely? Bit childish, I think.

To me, connect means join. If I don't want to join, I don't connect. Knowing the implications of joining a FB site, I never, ever join. But then I'm only a simple girl

On many websites, there are 'connect to Facebook' invitation symbols. I think most people realise that pressing that button takes you to the company / organisation facebook page. I think most people also realise that pressing this button will possibly result in personal information being available to the advertiser unless people have taken the trouble to adjust their privacy settings. Not exactly rocket science, is it?
-
"Probably not" to most of your questions I would think - if you've set your privacy settings appropriately. I wouldn't know about the timeline as I refuse to use it.
-
Do you reckon the word 'connect' might be a clue?

Lost his appeal but Ms May did **** up royally as his appeal was within the timeframe

Also when are the creditors due to meet to hear and vote on the terms of CVA MkII?

I guess the counter argument would be that the 'company' didn't pay taxes, not him personally.

Many of whom would welcome the chance to do an honest day's work for an honest day's pay. Unfortunately their chances of doing so are evaporating fast.

I think a lot of people were told that they could only have their loans if they took out PPI. And yet PPI wouldn't have been valid given their circumstances. e/g/ my SiL was a student so illness or redundancy wouldn't have applied to him. Also, if you had other insuranceds or good sick pay, PPI wouldn't have been paid out because they never paid out if there were other arrangements in place
-
My SiL has finally got his paid back after months and months of hassle. He claimed directly from Lloyds and they didn't pay up within their stated time frame. So they paid him an additional (generous) sum in compensation. Don't go to one of those companies that advertise on TV though - they're a rip off.

By chance, I noticed that Moulin Rouge was on TV and I was just in time to see the 'Roxanne Tango'. Probably the most erotic, dangerous dance scene I've ever seen in a movie. I'm now watching the unexpurgated version on the DVD - brilliant. Only Cell Block Tango from Chicago comes close.

Mr TF has just bought the Samsung Galaxy Note. It's very impressive although somewhat large (the phone, that is )

I think it might be the return of growth rather thanb austerity policies across Europe ( UK excepted)

^^^ Dreams is a High Wycombe company and they are sponsors of a stand at Wycombe Wanderers. I would have thought that they'd be more likely to buy Wasps (who are for sale and who play at Wanderers' ground) quite honestly.

Not the only Labour win in Dave's patch! My local candidate, for whom I pounded the streets delivering leaflets, also won, as did two more Labour candidates (plus the Chippy result as well).

"The FA and the Press Complaints Commission (PCC) receive a large number of objections relating to the front page headline in The Sun newspaper, regarding Roy Hodgson's manner of speech. An official complaint will not be made but the matter has been raised with the newspaper. FA chairman David Bernstein says: "We are delighted at the media response to Roy's appointment but are disappointed with the headline in The Sun, which we consider is in poor taste and disrespectful."
