I'm in favour of legalisation and controlled dealing. a) it could be taxed b) its purity could be guaranteed c) it might, just might, get rid of the criminal element behind the supply

The Ragged Trousered Philanthropists by Robert Tressell Because it is a great eye opener as to why Trade Unions came into existence but it's a great novel too - not at all dull.

I'm reading 'The Cellist of Sarajevo' ATM I'm finding it really interesting as I worked in Sarajevo a couple of years ago. It's about the war and obviously I was there after the war, but it's great actually knowing some of the places mentioned in the book.

Is Ewan Thomas (athlete) a supporter? He used to train with Roger Black IIRC

'Pigs, trainsets and football clubs' or 'How to fail in business without really trying' or 'Rupert Lowe - the Second Coming' I'd buy it for use in the outside privvy.

I'd rather watch the cricket TBH (even though we've just lost a wicket )

He used to live in High Wycombe too - even when he was famous. I'll ask my son-in-law (in the music business) if he's still around (Howard, not my s-i-l )
