NG - the more intelligent guys on here are actually quite friendly towards we women I, too, can offer the same skills as NG although my distance from Southampton may prove to be a problem although in these interweb times maybe not too much of one.

That's a good approach! But would the City want to swap, given that JF is in a different administrative area? Does it come under Fareham District Council? They might not be willing to grant PP for residential use. However, the regional plan for housing might override any objections the local councils have.

I DO indeed know how to pick 'em Nick I haven't had a former life but obviously the life I do have is rich and rewarding in a fulfilling and altruistic way. It even gives me the tolerance and strength of character to make allowances for you and your ilk :smt008

I've ALWAYS thought Bridge to be a better option than Cole. I had hoped that he'd get more of a look in what with consistent first team appearances for Man City.

I mean to say, we don't do that as a nation - do we

I love it when these bloated capitalists fight amongst themselves

C/mon Ponty - why don't you and I go knock on his door this weekend?

My other half is a Pompey fan but he's agreed that we can donate some of our savings to SFC. He wants us to survive.

You are a very silly man, sometimes. In fact most times.

How about 'the Madonna' stadium? She could adopt us instead. Oh OK

But everyone still calls Wycombe Wanderers' ground Adams Park - even the egg chasers! Frank Adams was a former player, administrator and patron of WW.

First and foremost - I'm not an Administrator But I am an auditor and we have daily rates and fixed fee rates. I think maybe they will have quoted both and a judgement will be made as to which is more cost effective. I wonder if there's also a percentage rate too i.e. they get x% of any sales they achieve :smt102

Ah yes - right. I thought my brain wasn't quite up to speed yet

Well maybe my brain isn't in gear this morning but I think the title of this thread is misleading. It implies that SFC owns JF, not SLH. But if you read the article it says: When pushed, he admitted that the assets of Southampton Leisure Holdings are mainly football related . But, perhaps crucially, not the Jackson’s Farm land which he believes gives the holding company a development arm to it. In other words, he's trying to demonstrate that, because the HOLDING COMPANY has a development arm, it can't be considered solely football related. This gives us the get-out of the club not getting the points deduction. If SFC is indeed the owner of JF, then the HOLDING COMPANY has no interests that aren't football related. Surely
-
As is the Football Club. I think that's the point. A buyer buys the Football Club, a buyer buys the Stadium Ltd. etc. etc. They're all subsidiaries and that is what the administrator is trying to sell.
-
Is the stadium a separate company - St Mary's Stadium Ltd?

I am so heartened to see so many posting on here for the first time / who rarely post, offering money. We can do this, guys and gals.

Lowe still a director of Southampton Football Club Limited

It is listed at Companies House as a separate entity. But the free page doesn't list directors. -
I'm no buddy of his but I bet you anything he just did as he was told and was required to do i.e. report on financial matters. The decisions about what to do about those financial matters would be taken by 'others'. He probably had very little actual power. Mind you, if things were so bad, he could have considered resignation as a point of principle.
-
Because he knows the intricacies of the financial set-up there. Otherwise the administrators would have to start from scratch to unbundle the bundles.
