Just IMO, Ive always found Carrick very uninspiring as a manager. Hasn't really ever achieved anything and has never really even taken the championship by storm. A good run here and there but really nothing to shout out about. I think he's living off of his reputation as a player tbh. I'd prefer GON, but realistically if that's going to piss off half the fan base then that's a risky way to start off.

Hes not a defensive midfielder, most definitely not an attacking midfielder, he just recycles the ball. That's it. That's not a good midfielder but most importantly we really need to stop old players coming back here. Enough of the nostalgia.
