I totally agree. I'm nearly 50 and for me there are much more important things in life. I've lost people close to me and that always puts things into perspective but for those of you who are feeling embarrassed maybe this will help. For me, I look at our results or how shite we've been for such a long time and I'm able to remove the emotion of it from my life by telling myself that's it's not me. It's not me going onto the pitch. It's not me hiring Nathan jones or pelegrino or buying Delgado or any other useless idiot. It's not my mistakes that make this club look stupid so therefore I feel no embarrassment for someone else's decisions. I'm actually relieved I get to blame someone else. It's not me making an idiot of myself. If it were down to me then I'd have anger or embarrassment or whatever you want to call it. For me now its just a shrug of the shoulders and sometimes a chuckle but I know it's not the same for everyone. I think my age helps a lot with that.

Who has ramsdale been linked with ?
-
Yeah I'm with you. Of course I'm pissed off - like everyone else on here - that we didn't hold on for something and the game has just finished so it feels raw, but that first 60 minutes was the best I've enjoyed all season. There was a lot to like about that performance and we all know we're going down but I'd like to think from what we've seen from the last few games we can reach the magic, almighty total of 12 points. That's the dream.
-
Sorry but i have to ask, are points 2 3 and 4 genuinely true or was that just a pissed off rant for which I don't blame you.
-
I turned the commentary off on the 40th minute. It's just too stupid to listen to.
-
You and I have been watching very different games my friend.

I'm actually annoyed for the first time in ages which in many ways is a positive sign. Very unlucky not to pick something up from that.

I've logged on here hoping to find out some news about a new manager and I'm obviously none the wiser. What I have discovered is that there's loads of random arguments going on, I'm not really sure if they're about a manager or even if it's a vacancy we're looking to fill - if indeed that vacancy exists and neither am I sure who is arguing with whom. Anyway.....crack on.

Okay, that's it for me. I don't care what happens with the rest of the season now. TP has made me a very happy man with those skills on halfway. Take care everyone. Love you all.

Still here then?? Bollocks. I'll come back tomorrow

I don't know much about anything in this world anymore but I've just seen who scored the winner against them and I feel all at peace with life.

Two years ago to this day I posted on here that I was eating cheese and pickle sandwiches at work. You ll never believe it but that's what I've got today as well!! What a day !! What a life.

Just to write that message then left. I've only come.back on to check the score. Watching SAS thing. Feel a lot happier

Everyone, do yourself a favour and do what I have done. Do something else. It'll make you less angry.
-
For me it's the fact they have become a lot more solid second half and limited villa to hardly anything. I just don't think we'd be capable of doing that.
-
Yeah sorry I don't follow all the chats. Any idea how far short we were ? But also the other point I made was in persuading someone to come to us which I imagine is a hard sell.
-
TBH I don't know the finer points of our transfer ability like some of the people on here might but I thought we'd be hampered by FFP. Maybe I'm wrong, I just didn't think we could spend it.
-
Now the dust has settled I agree with a lot of what you're saying. I think Archer has shown real flashes of ability and I'm happy to give him time to settle and anyone who thinks keeping Che was a better option clearly hasn't been paying attention for the last few seasons. Again, like you, we have to be realistic about this season and see it as a rebuilding season then when we go down we can bounce up again but with more solidity. I've been taken by surprise how big the gulf is between us and the other established lower half prem clubs even though we've been away only one season. When you've got the likes of Bournemouth Fulham and forest spending 30 - to 40 mil on players then that gap is going to take some time to bridge. As someone else mentioned earlier, we all want a top notch prem CF, but persuading them to come to us is a hard sell plus there is the financial aspect. The reality is this.....this season is gonna be a hard slog but its for good reason and not at all surprising. Just need to grit teeth and get thru it and yes before anybody has a dig at me, not leaving a player at the edge of the box is just plain stupid. I used to play CB to a decent level and I was always on the post looking looking out for gaps. That's unforgiveable!

Well originally I was going to say ABK but in hindsight there appears to be things going on behind the scenes with him that I'm not aware of so yeah, probably have to be janny which makes me very uneasy.
-
Still don't like bednarek but the.rest of that I would take. All our best players on the pitch and with some balance as well.
-
Told you hahahhaahahah
-
Can't see mccarthy saving one. Need a post or crossbar
-
I quite like this other than the cbs. Janny still makes me very nervous and i don't believe he's suddenly good enough for the prem. Would rather THB.
-
Come on, this is just semantics. I think he's better than Pickford and therefore England's best goalkeeper. My opinion. Is that fair enough ?
-
Yeah for me it is. We've just signed - in my opinion - England's number 1 goalkeeper. Its an absolute steal.
