Ralph was completely spent almost entirely in 2022. Some of the football was as bad as we have seen for a very long time, and the start of the season was just bizarre. Jones will (hopefully) add a short-term bounce, at least.

Not really. About par and certainly does not warrant the fawning all over him that is going on - more so when you look at his results against the elite teams.. Something like 24 games against teams who were in the top 10 at the time of the fixture, with 4 wins.... We all knew how the France game was going to go, and we know we will be plucky in defeat at the Euros. Noting the Euros are in Germany, are the do-good brigade going to be highlighting their recent history for the month?

Happy to pay more tax? But can’t be arsed to do so. gotcha

How much additional tax are you currently paying (voluntarily)?

Less/no calories in other social stimulants 🤭

With you on that. More so as Ronaldo did ‘it’ in a few of the top leagues. However, not now. Messi is the very best, probably ever!

Van Dijk. We even announced it before the window opened, and he was our best player

I know of someone who met both Greg and John Torrode. John, who appears a bit more stand-offish on telly compared to his follically challenged mate, was apparently really great and spent loads of time having a laugh with those who met him, whilst greg was an utter cock apparently

Game brought forward - awesome, less time to wait to see the team in action after a break with th new manager

Why does signing someone now relate to a computer game? Other clubs do it. I love it that you think we could be signing a striker at the world cup.
-
Why not sign someone so they can play/train from the very second the window opens? I mean, we have needed a striker for about a year!!!

Farmer Christmas - every bloody break it seems

probably the end of his career at Chelsea

I agree with you. When Southgate leaves, what good teams will be all over him? Few at best in the Premier League, certainly none of the top 6/8/10

On reflection, the subs (again) were the part that probably let us down (again). Ralph-esque with the substitutions for a while now

I think Southgate will (and should) move on - with his head held very high However, continuing to not get past a top team is not a good show. Not so much last night, but previously he has been extremely average when it counts, taking into account the fortunate fixture list / location of games We are also watching Kane turn into Wayne Rooney, the 2022 version. He has become incredibly immobile, and is now dropping into CM far too much

Yeah, saw that after posting
