  1. Christ alive
  2. Will Still to boro and they romp the league
  3. On the TSP the looked back around the absurdity of letting him go as we did. he departed after Lavia was injured and knowing he would be out for a while, and replaced by AMN. Ainsley Maitland Niles πŸ˜‚
  4. I thought it was a cracking series, and Alan Carr was great throughout. I liked Marler - he had it sussed. Nick was a a good guy and it was a generally good crowd. Part of what made this good was most of the contestants were relatively well known, and not including someone who pouts or gets their baps out for living. The non-celeb version can be good as there is some jeopardy, and because they don't know each other they tend to fall out at times. Although those chasing 15 mins of fame do turn up though.
  5. "Do you remember what player we bought in to replace Romeu, given Lavia was already injured" "Remember, it is ingrained in my fucking mind. Ainsley Maitland Niles" πŸ˜‚
  6. I bet Anskerson's GANTT is pretty epic....
  7. And yet right every time, yes?
  8. No marking? They are in a good line, pushed just forward of the 18 yard line, looking to play the offside (which works 9/10). Sometimes, a good run is a good run. A point, a players in the middle of the park, which could have been Chair - their best player - seems to have plenty of space to pick such a pass over our defence. That is the result of 5 at the back. Although a good line, spare players in defence and light further up.
  9. As a collective on SaintsWeb, we should not be so judgemental. Who remembers declaring the various 9/10 transfer windows? I bet if you look back through the Will Still thread, many of us predicted success under him.
  10. If it is GoN, then it’s him. I think it would be a decent appointment
  11. I downloaded a tactic, and I had to shift said tactic into the folder I had to create within the Sports Interactive directory. I used to be able to search my device files, from the game itself, to import a tactic. If I downloaded a few, it was very easy (for me) to chop and change. Little hurdles like that everywhere just add small percentages why it is a little easier to not bother playing it.
  12. Whilst much of that is still possible, putting up completely (and unwanted) barriers/hurdles to the ease of doing this, is daft
  13. part of the gig in the CS is the decent pension and the insane job security.
  14. We signed Juan initially...I wonder for what reason.
  15. No good if people start to fall away. There has been a huge, loyal fan base....this version is a bit of a 'fuck you' to them/us. I will probably give it a little more time, but sense I will re-install FM24 and add the various updates that people are keen to do.
  16. Not separating your food waste with your general waste? FFS
  17. The first step before they implement it for everyone.
  18. It is little barriers like that are a massive F**K YOU to a very loyal and geeky community. Part of the appeal with the ease to share tactics, share skins, face packs, database mods, editing etc. Even MLG deep down knows this version is terrible, given his relative silence on it.
  19. the UK is "All in".... Oh good, more green taxes then
  20. even with the update, the game is still farking terrible. The game play is still awful, still plenty of bugs, and feels a bit like playing a managerial version of FIFA/EA Football. When not using match graphics, is there a way to turn of the ridiculously big possession bar in the middle of the screen..? Unless they go back to the immersive, geeky, stat driven game, I guess this will be the end of my FM journey 😞
  21. Another player who has thrived in a 4231/433 one day, we may switch to that and properly coach the team as such
  22. in recent history, has there been a period where there was a need to build a 3x Southamptons every 12 months to cater for immigrants? This is completely unsustainable, and it will be a major factor in the end of this Government.
  23. Absolutely. He is a the type of pro and player that Flynn Downes could only dream of becoming, given they play in the same position. Flynn threw his toys out of his pram when he was trash in the premier league and could not move to Ipswich. At the same time, Romeu, who was already loved at this club, just had a season at Barcelona and acts as a supreme Pro.
  24. Great player. Proper player. Heavy weight sighing in this league!!!
  25. CHDAJFU? https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2024/10/7/freed-russian-arms-dealer-viktor-bout-back-in-business-report
