Anyone notice how much ground a player will advance at each throw in. Rarely is a throw in taken anywhere near where the ball went out

Damion Downs - Official: Loaned to Hamburg

I agree. The ingredients are there with him, and he is not expected to come in and be ‘the man’. Throw in he cost Rainey little, exactly what signing a young prospect should be. -

Just another comedy signing from Sports Republic -
We had / have people saying we won’t / can’t buy a relatively good keeper as Ramsdale is still a factor. absolute bollox, as know it
-
Baz is “fine” for the championship, apparently
-
I do think it is stupid, but don’t want him sacked. what I will do is follow your example and wait for another 2 games before passing judgement.
-
Well done for counting June and July in your “giving it time” methodology. Looking back, you said that Still had “lost you” after the Bristol City defeat - 11 games in!!! now being picky, you could argue that it was then Still was to be replaced in your mind. 11 games!! Either way, looks like I will give Tonda far more slack than your afforded Will Still.
-
12 league games mate. Well done I don’t want Tonda out. Where have I said that?
-
I don’t think I have suggested we are playing the same football.
-
That was 12 league games into Still’s tenure. We lost 2-1 away to Blackburn. You wanted him Sacked!!! Tonda has had 9 or 10 league games
-
At first look in my phone….You voted to “sack” Still on the SWF poll on 25 October
-
But you did, just after a relatively small number of games. Patience, eh
-
Another annoying thing… when a players has a good game, there is ‘chatter’ amongst the pundits about selection for England. MOTD bright up Calvert-Lewin for England. He has not been selected and all of a sudden he could? Same when Mason Mount has the odd good game. He is getting no where near the squad given the players ahead of him.
-
Remind us, how may games in did you want Will Still to be replaced?
-
I think Tonda is (so far) a naive 1 trick pony, and our good run was the result of a new manager bounce (that we finally got to see). He seems to have 1 way of playing, which is pass it about at the back, get the opposition to press us and let THB start an attack...that and/or hope for Leo sprinkle some stardust. Trouble is, teams are now closing midfield (why wouldn't they)...and we are still trying to do the same thing. We of course will win games, but we do have better players than nearly all of the league. But as a style/approach. We wont go up, and probably wont make the top 6. IMO, Sports Republic will be looking for yet another manager in the summer
