He is starting games with a rigid system that is fucking awful, we look awful and play awful Yes, he chases games and uses the deep squad he has, which most managers would do.
-
Starting every game the same that puts us on the back foot is not being flexible at all.... Playing Armstrong up top on his own constantly is not being flexible.
-
So what if he changed his formation pre season, that is what pre season is for? So far, when it matters, we have seen nothing of this pragmatism and flexibility
-
He has not shown any yet.

Give them a reach-around
-
But stats say we have the highest xG. So the chances are already being created (apparently)

Shift to a back 4, win lose or draw, prepares us for the league games

2nd Prem game in, all 3 promoted teams have won. Will any of them stay up?

We could follow this, yes? https://www.msn.com/en-xl/news/other/germany-s-chancellor-to-strip-failed-asylum-seekers-of-access-to-lawyers-in-new-migrant-crackdown/ar-AA1L5ONr -
we'd have to ditch 3 at the back first (we could have done this already). So far, it is like Juric/Rusk have never left

Someone will be along in a moment to tell us "Baz is fine in this league". He isn't, and wasn't previously

Are we top of the "Worst Club against 10 men" League"?
AlexLaw76 replied to Stripey McStripe Shirt's topic in The Saints
didn't we lose to 9 men (Newcastle) once? -
The Stoke keeper..how infuriating. So many were pleading for his signature as he is simply brilliant. He even had an auction when Rotherham played at SMS, even then he was available for £1m. Now, we could probably buy him. Azaz is one we need to get done. Excellent No.10, with proven ability in this league..... What is the connection here? Both are proven championship star quality!

So?

That is the bit I find odd, not being able to play 4231/433 Why? I get he wants new wide players in, but for 2-3 games, it is not possible to play Fraser, Robinson and / or Armstrong as wide players… even against Northampton? is it not possible to do something else other than play 3 at the back and Armstrong as the lone striker? the answer is clearly yes to the above, BTW very poor show from Still given his own words
-
All managers do that when changing the game What about starting with something different other than 3/5 at the back and Armstrong on his lonesome up top (which never ever fucking works) - that is where the flexibility is supposed to be, right?
-

he was good that season. It is something like Stuart Armstrong going forward, albeit he was a bit injury prone. However, for all Russell martin's twattyness, he did not play Arma as a lone striker with 5 defenders.
-
Got MOTD on, and just seen the 2nd goal city conceded. What is it with these keepers/managers, playing out from the goal line like that. it is just ridiculous
-
Adams, although good in our least season down, was a figure of fun until the season started.
-
Remember when barefoot benched Matt Le Tissier.....MATT LE TISSIER!!!!
-
Going into that season, Adams was very much wanted OUT by many, after a pretty horrible season when we were relegated.
-
Not having Adams does should not mean we have to play 6+ defensive players (in a 3 at the back set up) with Armstrong as the lone striker
-
The manager has stated that the plan is for "promotion this season, if not then next" Lets see..
