  1. I'd probably go with a 'by product' rather than critical.
  2. What's the plan for this sustainable planet you mention? What's the solution?
  3. Once upon a time the Earth was a molten ball. Arrogant humans increasing the temperature (combined with natural temperature increases) of the Earth is not going to make any difference whatsoever to the planet. The only thing that humans are interested in is self preservation. The Earth doesn't give a fuck about us and will adapt accordingly to whatever the temperature is, it'll just be another phase in the planet's very long history! If some people want to make their lives miserable because they think they will make the slightest bit of difference then more fool them!
  4. Russell better make sure he has a good Xmas run 😳
  5. Astonishing that not one person seems surprised at Sir Patrick's testimony today!
  6. Absolutely! It means he DOES admit that he posts as a wind up, if only occasionally. Do you know what 'being wrong' means? Or rhetorical question?
  7. Stop deflecting and just accept you are wrong. What does IDo mean?
  8. Oh dear, wrong again It's like you do it deliberately to make yourself look stupid
  9. Oh dear, wrong again I guess that just leaves the alternative that we have been telling you for several months and he really is thick as shit!
  10. House!
  11. No need to go to so much trouble to explain, we all know how you feel about Israelis and Jews
  12. What section was that in the 1951 refugee charter? Is it just Egypt that has that get out clause or does it relate to everyone that signed it? Why wouldn't they want millions of innocent, oppressed people in mortal danger?
  13. Which begs the question, why not? As a signatory of the 1951 refugee charter, aren't they obliged to accept refugees?
  14. Soggy = good, wholesome, top of the ivory tower. Everyone who doesn't agree with Soggy = right wing scum. It's very simplistic, but not surprising.
  15. Bless. Still not a clue about the history of the region.
  16. That's because you have me on ignore, surely? Or is this one of those celebrated cases where you've taken me off ignore just to read my posts, completely voiding the point of the ignore button? With regards to the 40 years, to enlighten you as you don't seem to have grasped the subject of Apartheid that you introduced to a thread about Israel (even though you state they aren't similar and there is definitely no whataboutery ), it took OVER 40 YEARS of international pressure including sanctions, boycotts and embargoes and over 6 years of political negotiations to bring about the regime change needed to end it. I question the effectiveness of fuckwits in other countries waving placards and taking slow walks along city streets during that time as they don't appear to have had any effect : Likewise, I question the effectiveness of the current protests (not just for Palestine) having any influence over Israel or the US to bring about the end of the conflict. They are clearly having zero effect on Hamas who could bring about a ceasefire by releasing the hostages but choose not to do so. For the avoidance of any doubt (for the thickos, you know who you are ), this is not the same as saying people shouldn't protest.
  17. *You're HTH. Not one person in the history of the innernetz has ever needed to "catch SOG out". He's the own goal king (obviously as well as the greatest wind up merchant that ever lived).
  18. You really are quite odd. I haven't hurled any abuse at either you or soggy (yet). I was merely answering Soggy's ridiculous claim that Apartheid and Israel have equivalence. I guess you still consider him to be the greatest wind up merchant since the invention of the innernetz. Fucking plank! Lost any posts today 🤣
  19. So, Apartheid is exactly like Israel then? We've got placards, marches, sporting boycotts, sanctions, all being made against Israel? Just another 40 odd years to wait for the resolution.... I figured you to be a little brighter than soggy's whataboutery, but apparently not.
  20. How are we looking for this weekend on the protest front? 300,000 is the bench mark isn't it, so I guess around that for the next round of protests...
  21. You (deliberately) missed the "waving placards" bit
  22. Sadly, the other teams are too shit for this to make a difference. Fingers crossed one or two of them find a run of games, but I'm not sure they will.
  23. Sadly, Hamas don't appear to be interested in the protests. They could force a ceasefire tomorrow by releasing the hostages, but apparently don't want that. What the fuck are you on about, re Apartheid? It lasted over 40 fucking years. It wasn't ended because some fuckwits in another country waved some placards around.
  24. I read a study about this (I can't remember where or how I found it as it was a couple of years ago) which was very interesting. I'm paraphrasing as I can't remember the full article, however, it stated something along the lines that whilst the specific chromosomes are assigned at conception / fetal development that determine 'sex', hormones continue to develop / affect behaviour long after birth during life, so effectively someone born female could conceivably believe they should be male (and vice versa), due to these hormonal changes. I guess that would influence the debate about whether this should then be considered a medical issue (is illness too strong a word?) and whether hormone therapies should be introduced to redress the balance / the ethical or moral debate around that. I know I wouldn't want politicians involved in those decisions!!!
