What Q was he asking the PM when he mentioned it?

To be fair, with 'mad Vlad', 'Sleepy Joe' and one of either Sunak or Truss in charge of the apocalyptic big red buttons, it might not be the climate that kills us all.

Something to sink your teeth in to?

Of course it's 'normal summer weather' for there to be grass fires when the grass is dry. They've even set up a taskforce in Wales (6 years ago!) to tackle them https://www.southwalesguardian.co.uk/news/19969309.2-000-grass-fires-dealt-2021-across-wales/

I think we've managed to prove that.....

Can't watch it, TV melted over night.

About time too! https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/62215462 If only other football based computer games were as forward thinking. #notwomen'sfootball

41.3 is the highest from my back garden (but the sensor is on the back wall which acts like an oven baking in the sun all day).

That was a regular summer day when I lived in Blakpool - 50mph winds horizontal off the sea too

You need to get yourself over to Paris if you want to see people collapsing at your feet due to the heat

Does this mean I can send Mrs WSS to the spare room?

It depends where you go. My daughter is looking to do a nursing degree starting in 2023. Cardiff University will apparently sponsor her for the full tuition fees, pay for all accomodation and pay wages whilst on placement. You need to commit to working in Wales for 2 years once qualified but I don't see that as a huge turn off.

It's a quote from the Worcester News, feel free to contact their editor and correct them... Although it looks like it does : https://www.gov.uk/guidance/the-highway-code/driving-in-adverse-weather-conditions-226-to-237 quote from the .gov link : "Keep your vehicle well ventilated to avoid drowsiness. Be aware that the road surface may become soft or if it rains after a dry spell it may become slippery. These conditions could affect your steering and braking. If you are dazzled by bright sunlight, slow down and if necessary, stop."

No good when it's 40 degrees outside and you're stuck in a traffic jam. Wouldn't want the long arm of the law to issue a fine
-
Rightly so. Although as Soggy would say it's all Boris's fault... https://www.worcesternews.co.uk/news/20281436.highway-code-drivers-face-5-000-fine-air-conditioning-car/ Air conditioning (or lack of) could see drivers punished under Highway Code rule 237 which states drivers must keep their cars “well ventilated”.

I don't have one - merely pointing out that not all cars with air con pump out pollution and greenhouse gases...
-
He has respected it. His current job is as a 'talking head' so he's also respecting his current employer by discussing the drama...

In a Tesla?

The heat must be getting to him

Nasser.hussain@skysports.co.uk is your best bet, I'm just repeating what he said this afternoon - I'm assuming that an ex England captain would know the rules but feel free to correct him

Did the on field umpire originally give it 'not out'? I'm pretty sure he did in which case the TV umpire didn't overturn the decision as there was no 'clear and obvious' error (how VAR should work but doesn't!!).

Fair point, but the Rother website proudly boasts over 2 miles of golden sands plus sand dunes. That's going to take many thousands of people to fill so there is no space left...
-
Whatabout, whatabout, two weeks, whatabout! It's day trippers going to the beach, not people going on holiday to camber sands for a fortnight. Good that you've forgotten you've got me on ignore again though
