FROTFPMSFL I think I made out four people throwing a handful of ripped up paper - probably nobhead neil's senseless ravings - into the air. Hardly the 'ticker tape parade' that the snooze is claiming! Just goes to show how small time they've become
-
No, 2. 1 in August and 1 in Feb 2014. They must be the only team in history to stretch the PL parachute payments all the way to League 2! I've never considered them to be generous before, far from it, but they do appear to be 'sharing the wealth' throughout the football pyramid.

*like* Community / fan owned club is definitely the way forward - for Saints fans

This weekend will be the ultimate test. 250,000 of the bestest fans ever, triumphed over the rest of the world who were against them at every turn. This rhetoric should rally the phew into action. Anything less than 20k for this landmark home game will signal crowds dropping to 6k and below next season!

They know what's coming

Is it a book on "paragraphs and their appropriate use" for nobhead neil?
-
He's obviously been taking tips from Factless Alan! Micah Hall, the revered journalist, has been reporting the PDT has £3m in escrow. In know who I believe HI David
-
Awesome. More abuse for Deepak from the phew

Is this another of those occasions where they need to know the numbers in advance so they can inform the police? A bit premature isn't it, arranging a meeting that far in advance? They have to wait for the outcome of the court case which is going to take place on the 10th or 11th - isn't it great that by the 7th of April they still have no idea when the most important court case in the history of their club will be taking place
-
There is NO mathematical way they can escape relegation. No more arguments... There is only one way they could escape, but that would mean the FL would have to be VERY lenient on them. I four one, can't see that happening. I know people bleat on about them having already been treated leniently by the FL thus far, but the FL have applied the rules that existed to the letter, the same as they have done to every other club in the same circumstances. We are in uncharted waters at the moment, so the rules are being created every time there is a need to do so. They won't escape punishment, but we'll have to wait and see what the punishment is once the time arrives
-
Surely that's a different club they are harping on about? THIS club has only been in existence for 2 or so years.
-
Not sure I agree... I read that as being about the time that Kanu 'went missing' and didn't return over the summer for training. I also believe he is referring to 'future' wages following his disappearing act, which technically he wouldn't be entitled to anyway! I don't read that as referring to his previous unpaid wages for which he is claiming via the tribunal.

They've played 42, so 4 games left. They have 38 points, so can get a maximum of 50 if they win the remaining four games. Minus 10 points would give them 40 points, with Oldham - currently 5th from bottom and safe - currently on 41 points. Whichever way you look at it, they'll be in league 2 next season, the only question is will they start on 0 or -10
-
To be fair, being forced to play at fortress rundown is a punishment in itself isn't it? If they want to rack up debt upon debt to ensure they continue to play at that rat infested flea pit, then more fool them!
-
Also, it's worth noting that once your current contract has reach the end of its 'fixed term' it will roll over to a monthly 'rolling' contract anyway, so you can stay where you are - assuming you continue to pay the rent - and avoid the need to move somewhere else.
-
You seem to be forgetting the Trust's catchphrase "the bid is fully funded and READY TO GO". I therefore assume that by the 12th of April the trust will own the club as all the rubber stamping will have been concluded. There is nothing else that can possibly hold them up after the court case is flung out of court and the big rusty key to nottarf is handed over.
-
Any news this week on Micah Hall's impending court case? I'm guessing that the 'warchest' is now stuffed so full of Wonga that the lid won't shut, but any update on the actual total on the totaliser?
-
Perhaps it says more about the Portsmyth fans. Only 1200 views and the 3rd highest source is Saints fans. Says to me that the ordinary Pompey fan couldn't care less who the owner is, just as long as they can buy success. Is that because he's a Villa fan
-
Anyone know the date of Micah Hall's appearance in court? Looking forward to the lols in that one! Come to think of it, how much has been raised for the plucky warchest since the initial £2k over the first weekend? I wonder if it will buy the services of a top legal eagle or a tramp with a new tie
-
It's hard to say really! Fag packet maths : Ground = £3m[lol], funded by HNW & PCC - circa 50% each? Chinny = £2m? - funded by PPs King Kanu = £3m - funded by PPs Other players = £8m - funded by PPs CVA = £0.5m - funded by fans? Oh, and PCC will be repaid by PPs. So, I guess the overwhelming majority of the club / debts will be paid by the Parachute Payements which will technically make the Premium League the overwhelming majority owner???

Err, no, not the only reason I suspect that the fact that they have been bankrupt since November 2009 would also mean that they haven't been able to afford to sack their managers - I suspect there has been one or two they would like to have fired....
-
You seem to be forgetting that should they be removed from the FL, then there would be a 'space' created within the league system. A fair few teams would benefit from an unexpected promotion to fill the gaps whilst the skates slot in nicely to the Wessex league
-
I wonder what the odds are that Portpin's legal team will all be struck down with some hideous flu virus over Easter and so will have to ask for an adjournment?

What star rating did you get from your local Food Hygiene inspector? I am of course assuming you are aware that you MUST have a health and safety / food hygiene inspection before you can sell your food items to the public - particular focus will be on HACCP and how you have ensured you food is kept 'safe' from purchase to sale.
