This is true. In May I was clocking 10k rowing at just under 45 minutes. Last week I hit a new PB of 41:25 which is a crazy improvement for an over 50!! Hoping to get close to 40:00 but averaging 2:00:00 per 500m for so long is a challenge!

Indeed. Cut down, eat more healthily, exercise more and you will lose wait. Cutting everything out is fine for the very short term, but most people give up on diets because they resent having the odd treat. Everything in moderation is the simplest notion.

Here's a hint, the post you quoted had nothing to do with the rest of the waffle you wrote and was highlighting that the WFB is now available to circa 800k pensioners who are eligible for pension credit but don't, for any number of reasons, including not knowing they are entitled to it, currently claim that benefit. Ergo the WFB is taken away from them by default...
