Not sure what Smallbone brings to the team to be honest. Think he might benefit from a loan move -
England seem to have the luck of Manchester City and Chelsea in draws lately

Clouds aren't necessarily lonely either

Is Gareth Bale the best ever British player?

The real question is was Le Tiss better than Gascoigne? -
That will be more likely. Give the big club players a longer rest

It's bit a disappointing really. You want to see the best nations playing at the World Cup. Still, fair play to North Macedonia.

Sounds familiar!

Think I would have Kelvin Davis before Paul Jones -
You would think that an established Premier League player and full international would rise above fan reactions during a match. Having said that, the sarcastic clapping during the Watford game after the fans gave him shit after yet another sideways ball done him no favours.

As must the two Stuart's. Gray and Wigley -
I guess the position will become a lot clearer at 2pm against Leeds when the team sheet is announced. No Jan could point to there being a fallout

Until Southgate tells him that he does if he wants to be picked again.

Would love us to try and get Henderson from United or Pope from Burnley. -

Agreed. Once Salisu puts his hands on Jesus, and he feels the contact, only going to end one way. Such a needless challenge to make. The Long shout is never going to be given in my opinion -
Should Ralph really have come out and said this? I know he did the sarcastic clapping to the fans last week, but this won't do Jan any favours.

We really need to upgrade in the keeper and centre half position. -

Honestly, I am a huge supporter of Ralph, but sometimes I just don't understand him. Would you have gone for Long and Armstrong in this game? -

So, after completely been overlooked against bang average opponents in Watford, AA gets a start against arguably the best team in world football. Words honestly fail me. -
Tend to agree with this. Although defensively they are a mess, think they have too much attacking talent to get out of it. Think in reality the bottom three as it stands are going.

Massive game for Everton tonight. Much as I dislike Newcastle, really hoping they beat Everton. Would be hilarious to see them relegated.

Burnley and Brighton games re-arranged in April
Lee On Solent Saint replied to Ivan Katalinic's 'tache's topic in The Saints
Absolutely this. I was there Sunday and it just felt like a really shitty kick off time. The atmosphere all round was awful, although that might have been due to the complete ineptitude of the team. -
I get what you are saying, and 100% agree I would have snapped your hand off to be in the position we are in. I just feel that with the three games we have lost, we really missed a chance to push on. After Thursday's game it was imperative that we win yesterday. I have no idea what Ralph was trying to do by playing Smallbone in that role. It didn't work at all. In fact, by hauling him off at half time, probably did him more harm than good. The whole team and game felt flat yesterday, I know Ralph can't do much about the calamity error for the first goal, but it just seemed tactically he was just trying to be too clever again. Watford aren't the greatest at the back, and to be fair, yesterday they didn't need to be.

Agreed. The ref was too weak to clamp down on it the minute they started doing it.
