I wish I shared your confidence. The most telling thing for me is that there is no mention on the statement that the club is actively seeking a new manager. This is exactly the sort of thing SR do, appoint total no hopers in the hope that something sticks.

This club is beyond fucked up. We lose at QPR on Wednesday, what sort of atmosphere do the board think the players wil be playing under? Still has not done himself any favours, but the owners surely cannot let this drag on, once the crowd turn you don't ever get that back. Factor in we have also turned on the players as well, St Marys could get even worse than it was yesterday.

That is absolutely so true. Swansea were absolute gash yet we still could not beat them. I didn't think Middlesborough were anything special either. There are some proper bang average teams in this league this season, I've no doubt that a competent manager would have us top 6 no problem.
