To be honest, and this might sound like sour grapes etc, but wasn't particularly impressed by Ipswich over the two games we've had with you. Had we played you at St Mary's later than we did, I doubt if we had lost to you. You are quite a niggly team, few nasty and unnecessary challenges on Monday that with a stronger ref would I'm sure have resulted in a few more cards than you eventually got. I would argue that you didn't win the game, rather we lost it by poor in game management and the lack of clinical finishing by certain players. That's down to our manager who thinks he's re-inventing football every time we play.

I wonder if we have plans to ban Westwood, just in case.
-
He should not have been made captain simple as that. The only qualifying criteria for him being captain was the fact that he became our longest serving player after JWP left. Both choices for captain this season have been shit. I know there isn't anyone that stands out for the job, but neither Stephens or Armstrong are captain material.

Out of interest, how do you justifu your love in for Martin when it seems he dropped KWP? Ok, so he didn't play that great on Friday, but to drop the best right back in the league because he wasn't at his best for one game, is horse shit. Others have had shit games this season but have still retained their starting place next game.
-
Apart from Baz and Stephens it would seem.
-
Various players over the course of the season have been at fault for goals, most of them still retaining their starting place for the next game. Absolute horse shit from Martin.

Horrible fuckin team

Am really looking forward to beating these cuts in the play off final.

Lot of nasty tackles by Ipswich.

Maybe I'll retract my confident win statement
-
I confidently predict we will win today.

Couldn't give a fuck what he has done off the pitch. I want to remember him as the greatest Saints player I have seen, and will likely ever see.
-
Yeah, I thought it was someone taking the piss at first.

Is this the part where it turns out that Christophe has been MLG all this time!

Matthew Le Tissier is an absolute Saints legend. I feel totally privilged to have watched him play, those years were some of the best footballing moments I can recall from supporting us. He is, and most likely will be the greatest player I have ever seen playing for us. I don't care what he says on social media, growing up he was my hero, and nothing will ever taint that.

Looks like the liquid nitrogen dude from Terminator 2

Remember the West Ham one, think Futre wound him up big time by taking the piss by just going past him a few times like he wasn't there. Another one when he didn't even look at the ref before walking off.

Didn't they have a lot of players that were still in the RN at that time though based down there? Not sure how it worked back in those after war days.

Ralph Hasenhüttl new manager of VfL Wolfsburg

So Jones and Selles weren't contributing factors either? -
Absolutely. So what if we end up in the play offs. Pressure will be on whoever who end up facing, not just us. Hull and West Brom are beatable, even Ipswich aren't Real Madrid. I'd wager Norwich would be a tougher game. Over two games, I'd fancy us to beat anyone. Then the final, what's not to love?

Loved Ralph. His passion before he was worn down was great. -
I can't stand Leeds, but some of these challenges Millwall are putting in are pretty nasty. Pretty much the same gameplay they employed against us.

Biggest thing I'm not looking forward to is all the local media coverage. South Today and Meridan, or whatever it is called these days will be awash with victory parades and open top bus tours. Have endless days of how a sleeping giant is working itself back to the big time.
-
Thanks. I will.

City of Southampton fucked up? It was a fire in a building, am sure you can blame the city for lots of things, but not sure if starting fires is on the list. How do you know both clubs mutually agreed to the date? I thought we wanted it played this week but Preston disagreed. Doesn't sound very mutual to me
