Southampton 1-0 Leeds - Saints are Promoted!!

To be honest, couldn't care less, wear bin liners as long as we win. -
Southampton Road? A good omen?!
-
I've always parked at Ruislip station. Decent and fairly large car park next to the station.

Wasn't that the game with about six or seven minutes of injury time? Seem to recall the ref, Roger Milford I think.
-
He'll get found out next season.

Not going either. My son is going camping with his Mum for the week. Obviously could have gone with others, but would feel totally bad about going without him. Did look earlier and was tempted, but guilt won out! -
Wembley Tickets - extra tickets also SOLD OUT

Two hours for me. Oh well. -
Maybe its an age thing, but just didn't see the point of being on the pitch when we haven't achieved anything. We just won a game of football that happens to lead to another game where we have a shot of promotion.
-
I get what you are saying, but at the end of the day, what exactly was it a celebration of? We didn't win anything, save for the chance to win another game for promotion. It's something I would expect a League 1 or League 2 club to do if I'm being honest. The sight of grown men sprinting across the pitch to wind up another set of fans just leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth. The stewards were a complete waste of time, it was pretty obivious it was going to happen, so instead of just watching it, surely it would have been better to form a line or something across the pitch so everyone was kept apart. I'd like to see eveyone try and get on the Wembley pitch next week, should we win.

Who will be our No1 keeper next season
Lee On Solent Saint replied to Markyruk's topic in The Saints
He's probably not on our radar due to cost, plus he's not great withi his feet either, which seems to be the main priority for us when looking at keepers. -
To be nearer his family?

Smashing up their own shithole town after gaining promotion just shows the level of twatness they operate at.

#too scary for words

Brighton seem like they like to retain experience. Offered Milner and Welbeck new deals, so you could be right.

Armstrong up top is just as shite as putting Mara there. -
Who are your penalty shootout takers?
Lee On Solent Saint replied to Paul Chuckle's topic in The Saints
A Armstrong/KWP/THB/Stephens/Smallbone Really hoping it doesn't go that far. -
West Ham have always had this utter bullshit notion of being the academy of football, perpetuated by the media. To view Moyes as anything but successful for them is very disrespectful to the guy.
-
Too many stupid draws from winning positions killed us. Huddersfield/Watford/Middlesborough/Rotherham spring to mind.
-
This, with the away game against West Brom, probably our most impressive away wins all season.
-
THB right back, Stephens and Beds central.
-
Really don't get the love in with Ipswich. Wasn't that impressed with them at St Marys, and we should have beaten them at their place. Would have done if Martin had any proper in game mangement skills.
-
I might be wrong, but Leicester tend not to concede three/four and five goals in a game. I suspect most of the goals they've conceded are the odd one or two in a game.
-
Even with that extra time to set himself, he's still missed a fair few chances this season.
-
But that was at Premier League level. A back four with KWP/THB and Bednarek shouls absolutely no way be conceding over 60 goals in the championship.
