  1. Must admit I expected more from him as per the fee. The thing I look at is the Leeds lads, Gnotto and Summerville. I fully expected Sulemana to be at the level they are at in the Championship.
  2. Pretty sure I remember them trying to light fires in the Archers Road end during a league cup match in the 80's. Was mildy amusing watching it from the Milton. Much more "fun" moment was when myself and a few mates were caught up in a mini riot after watching Saints lose at Upton Park. We thought it would be a good idea to sample some East End hospitaility and found the "world famous" Blind Beggar pub. Not sure where they came from, but a load of Millwall turned up and proceeded to kick the shit out of the West Ham lads that were brave enough to stick around.
  3. I agree that the board loves someome to blame, but when you've got the more rational posters saying he is shit, normally that should tell you something.
  4. That's exactly it. Why does football matter so much? It's just a game at the end of the day, but it somehow has the power to make rational people want to kick anything in sight. Truly baffling.
  5. Depends where I am. Last night, didn't go to the game, so it was shouting and swearing in the kitchen at the final whistle. Que the usual responses from my wife stating that they don't care anyway and that they are only interested in bank balances. Not being a fan she finds it difficult to understand how emotional football can get you.
  6. Agreed. We are talking about professional football players here. Barring injuries or carrying knocks, they should be able to play two games a week.
  7. He's got credit in the bank for sure. But for me, why mess around with the starting eleven so much. The team that started Friday should have been the team that started last night. He bangs on about managing minutes and keeping players happy, but we are a professional football club. Not my son's under 12 Tyro league team. If they aren't happy about not playing, so what?
  8. There was absolutely no need to bring Manning back last night. Am not a huge fan of Stephens, but after WBA he earned another start.
  9. Maybe achievable with the squad. Is it achievable with the manager though?
  10. I think he was a signing we didn't need to make in all honesty.
  11. I'd rather us finish 3rd and play someone like Coventry, than finish 4th and maybe face Hull or WBA.
  12. Doesn't mean he's immune from being called out if he's not had a good game.
  13. And Sunderland
  14. No Russell. Playing very good in the second half would mean you would be knocking at them for the 45 minutes. Not just the 10 or so minutes before the final whistle
  15. Can absolutely see us finishing 4th now.
  16. Couldn't give a shit about this game now. Really is a game we absolutely do not need.
  17. There was absolutely no need to change that starting eleven from Friday. That was a professional display away from home against decent opposition. I don't particularly rate Stephens but he didn't do too much wrong on Friday. Same with Charles, would have been a much better bet than the absolutely woeful Rothwell.
  18. Don't give a fuck what Leeds think of us to be honest.
  19. Got no interest in that game, wish we had lost to Watford to be honest/
  20. Just a game we don't really need.
  21. Only reason we lost that was the manager not picking the best starting 11.
  22. Better than no points
  23. Another player with a hipster beard
  24. Kinda worrying if we all saw what a shitshow the starting midfield would be, and yet Martin couldn't.
  25. Ridiculus how we can go away from home and totally boss WBA, but turn up at home and make Hull look like fuckin Real Madrid.
