  1. I really dislike Leeds
  2. Has ours gone yet?
  3. Hopefully he'll at least make the bench tomorrow
  4. Far enough, but just don't see the point in him playing in that game either. Absolute non entity of a game, even worse due to the fact that its played midweek.
  5. Why bother risking him at all in that case then? Liverpool game is meaningless in the grand scheme of things
  6. That's fuckin stupid. Let's play him in a game we have no hope of winning, yet we don't play our best starting eleven in a must win Championship game.
  7. Probably stating the obvious, but we need to win this and win it well. No nervous 1-0 up going into the last ten minutes.
  8. Wouldn't that class as good? You don't think we are a good team for the level we are at?
  9. I'd question whether we are above average to be honest.
  10. But isn't that kind of the point though? He's not playing for a mid table team in the Championship, he's playing for a team that is challenging for automatic promotion. I expected a lot more from him when he signed, considering we supposedly beat Leeds to sign him. He's average at best.
  11. Saving it for the play off final then?!
  12. Must admit I expected more from him as per the fee. The thing I look at is the Leeds lads, Gnotto and Summerville. I fully expected Sulemana to be at the level they are at in the Championship.
  13. Pretty sure I remember them trying to light fires in the Archers Road end during a league cup match in the 80's. Was mildy amusing watching it from the Milton. Much more "fun" moment was when myself and a few mates were caught up in a mini riot after watching Saints lose at Upton Park. We thought it would be a good idea to sample some East End hospitaility and found the "world famous" Blind Beggar pub. Not sure where they came from, but a load of Millwall turned up and proceeded to kick the shit out of the West Ham lads that were brave enough to stick around.
  14. I agree that the board loves someome to blame, but when you've got the more rational posters saying he is shit, normally that should tell you something.
  15. That's exactly it. Why does football matter so much? It's just a game at the end of the day, but it somehow has the power to make rational people want to kick anything in sight. Truly baffling.
  16. Depends where I am. Last night, didn't go to the game, so it was shouting and swearing in the kitchen at the final whistle. Que the usual responses from my wife stating that they don't care anyway and that they are only interested in bank balances. Not being a fan she finds it difficult to understand how emotional football can get you.
  17. Agreed. We are talking about professional football players here. Barring injuries or carrying knocks, they should be able to play two games a week.
  18. He's got credit in the bank for sure. But for me, why mess around with the starting eleven so much. The team that started Friday should have been the team that started last night. He bangs on about managing minutes and keeping players happy, but we are a professional football club. Not my son's under 12 Tyro league team. If they aren't happy about not playing, so what?
  19. There was absolutely no need to bring Manning back last night. Am not a huge fan of Stephens, but after WBA he earned another start.
  20. Maybe achievable with the squad. Is it achievable with the manager though?
  21. I think he was a signing we didn't need to make in all honesty.
  22. I'd rather us finish 3rd and play someone like Coventry, than finish 4th and maybe face Hull or WBA.
  23. Doesn't mean he's immune from being called out if he's not had a good game.
  24. And Sunderland
