I see John Terry has been thrown into the frame for the vacant Oxford job, just waiting now for him to be linked to us, if he hasn't already !!
-
Fraser Forster having a good game tonight. We could do with a back up keeper like him. Oh hang on !!!!!!!
-
One of the worst for constant touchline coaching has to be Pep at Man City. Not sure if he has lacked confidence in his ability. Oh hang on !!!I that seems as if im comparing Pep to our very own Russell 🥱🫣.

Time sort of heals and covers the scars but Branfoot era was pretty horrendous with huge protests in the carpark after games etc. The abuse thrown at him as he walked down the touch line. Of course no social media in those days but the hatred towards that guy !! For those old enough to remember, is it worse now ? Or were we more passionate back in the day showing our hatred and more likely to let our feelings be heard . I'm not so sure !!

I'm available, haven't made any goalkeeping gaffes for about 30 years unlike our usual lot. Then again being 70 might put them off picking me 🤣🤣🤣
-
That's easy to answer. They want him to play that way as it's the easiest 3 points they're ever going to get all season. Opposition manager sure as hell ain't going to say ....it's suicidal football playing that way against us.....Of course they're going to admire him !!!!!! Problem is, he actually believes them.
-
Dare I say Wood having a half decent game on his debut. Probably qué for a massive cock up now
-
Chelsea manager just said it's going to be there toughest game of the season....wtf !!!! These opposition managers love praising us up.
-
Hope not, 10 minutes added on time
-
Yes, who'd rather be second in the Premiership, decent manager, good recruitment, forward thinking owner, no much rather be Southampton......🤔!!!!!! It's one thing being a loyal Saint's fan but you have to be realistic.
-
18 years old , first full season !!!! any half decent team would still be easing him in gradually, we can't because he's our best player.
-
Some great reminiscing and footage of Dave Watson before the England v Republic of Ireland game today on ITV before the match. What a defender for Saint's. Dave sadly suffering, like many ex professional players now from dementia probably not helped by heading the old leather balls. His wife fighting for help for him. He's at Wembley today, I think there's a presentation to him before today's game. Kevin Keegan used to say that big Dave would put his head where others wouldn't even put there feet.

Mason Holgate sent off on his debut for Jamaica, gets slammed by the Jamaica press, a disaster debut they headlined it for costing them the game. Well there's a surprise !!!
-
Looks like a video has now appeared apparently showing him sniffing cocaine during the summer Euros.
-
Disallowed. Fuck

So who exactly was RM referring to with his comment....one person had one job to do that would have stopped that goal.....
-
In the Daily Mail today they report that Russell Martin was one of the English managers not interviewed for the vacant post. 🙄🫣
-
Loved the question asking..... Do you have any thoughts on the waste at St Mary's , do you notice it, is there to much ?... 🤣🤣🤣🤣
-
Yet many posters on here at the time were saying how this summer's transfer window had been really good, great work by the club and the recruiting department, money well spent etc etc ......that aged well 🙄🫤

Yes, Ipswich looked decent so agreed, a point gained last week. Going back to the previous week against Man U though , after seeing them against Spurs today they looked that bad that was definitely 3 points lost when we played them.
-
I took a mate on Saturday who hasn't been that often and he remarked about good atmosphere. We were sat high up in Kingsland / Northam corner and apart from the 96th minute 😟 it certainly seemed half decent.
-
Pitch looks decent again now after a few problems last month. Just the team now that needs sorting. Maybe the groundsman has all the answers.
-
Going back to the old Dell days of course we had many memorable games against them and it could be said that indirectly we were responsible for Alec Ferguson taking over as manager after we beat Ron Atkinson's Utd in a League cup game in 1986 with Le Tiss coming off the bench and scoring twice in the last 20 minutes. ( I'd forgotten about this game until an article in the Echo today). Following day Ron Atkinson was sacked , Fergie took over and the rest as they say is history !!!!

My first post on this famous COT thread. Forgive me but I've often wondered, if someone ITK at the club, as insinuated many times, was genuinely leaking information that was being kept under wraps about potential signings to your good selves on a regular basis before anyone else gets to hear, wouldn't the club be rather annoyed and hunting where the leaks come from so as to shut that particular door rather than let the information be leaked so often over such a long period of time .🤔 Just wondering in a quiet moment of contemplation as you do 😏!!
