  1. That previously relegated team looks quite good now. I’d only change Bazunu for Ramsdale and Elyonoussi for Fernandes.
  2. Musk did a Roman Salute FFS. Wasn’t even subtle.
  3. Starmer is exceptionally good at PMQs. The contrast between himself and Badenoch is astounding.
  4. I think he is ill, probably on drugs - based on the Wall Street Journals recent article. But no matter ones bias against him, as is inherent in the Rest is Politics, to accuse him essentially of believing in a fake Jewish conspiracy to replace white people is a tad extreme. Especially with no evidence to back it up.
  5. On topic - the other day Rory suggested Musk believed in the "Great Replacement Theory." Which would be big news if that were the case, as that would surely mean Musk may be in on it. Musk is a Zionist: he basically begged the AFD leader to support Israel the other night. Elon is supportive of H-1B visas. He actively supports Indian immigration into America. All this means, if Rory is correct (he's not), Elon not only believes in the Great Replacement, but is also playing his part in it through his support of both immigration and Israel. Or its a completely baseless claim. Like lots of the Rest is Politics' claims.
  6. Based on the mood around the club after finishing on the lowest points tally ever recorded. Quality is important but so too is morale; if losing continues to be our habit, I don't see why we wouldn't fall away, even in a worse league.
  7. I very much doubt we'll be as competitive as we were previously. And even then, prior to the play offs we were falling off.
  8. The United Kingdom is run by Satanists, says the man who ran a p*rn cam-girl website.
  9. Does anyone have any good links to reports on the effects of climate change in the Global South? Beyond the IPCC and World Bank, if possible.
  10. Obviously not. I feel you may misunderstand my view. I am consistently against large foreign interference of all kinds; key word being 'consistent', hence my rejection of the BBC's clear bias in America. My views on Musk's influence are equally as skeptical.
  11. One from the top of my head is the BBC pedalling the “Trump said to drink bleach” rubbish a few months before the 2020 election. I was a frequent listener to Americast - the BBC’s American political podcast - which was full of half truths. In 2024, one of theirs was taking his speech on Chinese tariffs and the “bloodbath” and linking it to his rhetoric, suggesting it was a call for violence. Half truths and bias are the key to misinformation; Musk does not hold a monopoly on this. Edit: In-fact, Jon Sopel was the frequent podcaster circa 2020 - the BBC’s man in America. This tells you all you need to know. I read his book “Unpresidented”, which enhanced my understanding of bias and spin. Sidenote @sadoldgit, but I have an off-topic question regarding your hatred of all populism, which you deem to be linked purely with national conservatism. What is your opinion on populism from the Peoples Party of America in the 1890s? The Agarian-led one which helped to cement workers rights, the minimum wage, fairness for women?
  12. Elon Musk’s posts normally get around 4-5 million views. A good tweet achieves 15 million. The BBC has access to 450 million people worldwide, according to themselves. Their America coverage was incredibly biased against Trump. Do you hold the same contempt for the BBC’s meddling in the American election?
  13. After relegation on 11 points, Derby just about survived in a Championship relegation battle the following season. We could still be utter sh*t. But with players such as Downes, AA, THB - too good for championship, not good enough for the prem - we’ll be somewhere around the playoffs. Hopefully?
  14. I’ll go with the Saints pre-match march, please.
  15. Interestingly, Bernie Saunders is to the right of Musk on immigration. One calls for the continuity of H-1B status, the other says it is undercutting Americans with servants from abroad. Is the one who said the latter racist? https://x.com/SenSanders/status/1874918027982172626 Edit: @Gloucester Saint My 3 posts are up. I don’t wish to accuse you of strawmanning, but my post was not saying Robinson isn’t racist. Nor did it say islamophobia isn’t racism. My post was purely a point of information regarding your idea that Robinson (personally) is racist against all who are not white. I do not believe he is.
  16. The EDL was also known, legally, as the jewish defence league for over 3 years from 2011. Tommy Robinson, a massive zionist (with possible Israel-based financing), called the BNP “backwards nazis who is against anything anti-White” in 2009. He said, at the same time, that Islam is the sole issue. Tommy Robinson has openly called for Hindu and Sikh immigration. The idea he’s racist to all, and didn’t focus on Islam until 2016, is for the birds. He’s an Islamophobe.
  17. So there’s no evidence of this being him. It’s literally “people on Twitter allege that…” It could just as easily be a voice modifier to sound like Musk. The person doesn’t have his distinct sentence structure.
  18. Yet he wants the future to involve humans combining consciousness with AI - through a brain chip; all to avoid being “left behind by AI”. His fears surrounding AI are fears against his own actions (neuralink and optimus). I’m for AI being implemented in a safe manner, but don’t fully trust him with his new found power.
  19. I agree, I only said it for the pass comment.
  20. Can’t believe he’s passed up that opportunity.
  21. Putting on tin foil hat... Friends with Trump > Uses friends with President liberty to push for further AI > DOGE cuts AI red tape > DOGE cuts costs by putting AI in every department > Unregulated AI put in every home > AI takes over human thought. Takes off tin foil hat
