  1. What if I told you it was the right wing.
  2. Got to love a wartime game, 79 years prior to today. Same day the Soviets began the Battle of Berlin in fact.
  3. I would like to get back to the ultra corrupt league, but only due to bragging rights - I can’t handle being below the likes of Bournemouth and Brighton, with Pompey on their way up. Staying in this league with little money and becoming the new Stoke / Swansea isn’t appealing to me. A sad existence awaits us and competing as we are year after year isn’t realistic. Having said that I believe it will be Leeds and Leicester top 2, with Hull winning the play offs.
  4. Breathing in toxic plastic chemicals and asbestos just for a meaningless game against Sunderland. This vs the Leicester game of 2019 will surely be debated in years to come as the “I stayed longer” glory hunter test.
  5. Running to the railroad track, run along with Captain Jack.
  6. Apparently if the games rescheduled Brooks can’t play as he’s cup tied
  7. Worlds gone soft, play on!! Welcome to Hell Preston.
  8. Makes me feel ill these. 5 mins late it is…
  9. I was on the left hand side - nothing from them all game. The right side was the loudest but still seemed a sh*tter version of our Itchen North / Northam set up. Maybe their “kop” simply takes potential singers away from these areas leaving little loud peoples scattered around. Or perhaps it’s acoustics as I thought our fans were fairly loud but from videos it doesn’t seem the case.
  10. Couldn't hear that from my side, but still funny.
  11. I’m 1/99 sure they were brought in for betting purposes. That and giving stinky people (also known as football staticians) jobs.
  12. Fans chanting Will Smallbones name in a nice moment at the end only for Russell Martin to steal the moment by doing his fist pumps in the middle of it 🤣🤦‍♂️ w⚓️
  13. Finally going to an away this season (not been since Sheff Wed). Getting my vocal cords warmed up ready for this one: Football in a library, Gabbiadini and Rickie Lambert songs already performed in the mirror to a monk like rhythm.
  14. Is that the identity of a brattish unsportsmanlike reaction to losing and persistence on playing out from the back. A style which has currently got us finishing 4th in what should really be a three horse race at worst. There are certain styles where you actually have a go at opposition teams to attempt to win. The last 20 mins or so of Millwall was a disgrace.
  15. Has this ever been sung? I must say I don’t get many’s emphasis on a Church Spurs style OWTS, acting like it’s so magical. It’s dull, boring, and frankly hard for the lungs to sing. I’d much rather return to the Triumphial versions of owts putting everyone in a good mood. As long as there’s no backboard bashing it shouldn’t be too quick. Get rid of the call and response. That way you can simply add more lines such as this and drown out the opposing teams - which I see as the main reason of utilising the song.
  16. The success of this system promotion wise is of little benefit or disadvantage to Martin. These days, the pure fact a manager plays this style is enough to gain their way up the pole of top jobs.
  17. It’s awful. Martin is really starting to piss me off. Decision making and personality.
  18. We go into this one as clear favourites. They have a depleted squad with many injuries to star players. They only have 60 points this season, we have 67. Anfield is a tough ground to play at, they’ll struggle.
  19. Should put safe standing at the top of both the Chapel and Northam, otherwise the away fans noise is to be unopposed on one side of the stadium. Either give us a proper atmosphere or leave it how it is.
  20. He reads from a script and his constant use of poetic or latin phrases is both unnatural and annoying.
  21. He won’t regret it. He has no connections to the current world. No troubles, no doubts, no feelings; just Zen, as Buddha taught him.
  22. We’re going to win the cup. Ey ay addio and all that… We’ll be running round Wembley with another victory avenging the Bury defeat 124 years ago with a 4-0 win. B*stards.
  23. What a baby
  24. To be fair, whilst I feel the talking shop of parliament is embarrassing, the Gaza vote is highly irrelevant either way. UK stance on the issue means nothing other than our arms sales - sales which if reduced will simply be resupplied by the US through Israel lobby backing. Therefore, this vote is more a sentiment “we were on the right side of history vote” and the people protesting calling for a ceasefire vote are deluded to think it is anything different. The decision is not even down to Israel, the US call the shots. This is why I don’t call it a genocide: genocide being the killing of a large number of people with the goal of destroying a state. Firstly <0.6% of Palestine’s population has perished, too many as in every war but not a “genocide” in act and secondly as long as the US believed and supports a two state solution, this will remain. In short, only the US opinion matters and the UK demanding a ceasefire is like a fugley man asking out a celebrity supermodel. Mob rules! Sad state but it’s all around us. I found it a bit fishy that Labour changed their position on the issue so soon after Reeves was harassed. Tory party no different in abuse, but haven’t really moved positions. I was originally intrigued by the idea of a personal MP bodyguard, however with houses targeted as well it may go beyond this. T*rrorist scale is high and MPs are certainly on high alert right now.
