some of the young players we signed this summer would normally have had a loan move to the championship this season, that is the level of our starting eleven signings. edozie, bazunu especially look in need of a season in a lower division. mara also.

I kind of hope they don’t continue with their “project”. I see from their perspective the loan disguised as a buy system if working well gets them a big profit if the former club wants to buy them back, but what do fans of our club get out of it? we see raw players struggle week in week out in the hope they do something for the parent club to trigger the buy back clause, only for us to buy another academy player and do the same thing over again. don’t be fooled they do not care about “having the best young players“ they care about the profit they will make from them if they give them game time for big clubs who buy them back for 4x the price. fuck this project, I just want a normal transfer policy with a mix of both. the signing of orsic has been good to show short term existence, however I can’t sit through another transfer window like last summer without asking “what the fuck are they doing”. we’re being treated for fools, they’re using the southampton brand of bringing through young players to excuse their profit making scheme and trick us. smug wankers the lot of them. we go down with both. we would have done exactly the same with ralph in charge. we were absolute shit in the last games under ralph. i went to the only win of those games bournemouth and we scored with pretty much our only chance and go outplayed even then. I went to villa when we did fuck all the whole game. whilst we are still absolute shit at least from my perspective we had more chance in the game today to get a result than under a ralph 2022/23 performance. ralph was shite.

Sad thing is I can’t agree, I honestly don’t think we’re worse off under jones. We have got better than the end of ralph, just not enough as we would have if we were given the opportunity villa / wolves were given with their europa league 3x winner manager etc.

I thought this at first, but with no good new signings like a striker, we were always destined to go down. ralph had lost the dressing room and the performances towards the end were worse than under jones imo (bar forest).

after years of supporting saints, i’ve decided to give it up. I couldn’t take being so shit anymore.
