I for one am looking forward to a convincing win this weekend. Full of aggression and front-footedness. A clean sheet, impeccable football and impressive tactics. You said you’d deliver Nathan. With the greatest of respect, now’s the time.
-
Ah ok. I thought he meant let the club go. Maybe he meant their manager. Cheers

I thought it was an interesting forum - much better than I anticipated in terms of allowing the fans to ask questions (many of which were direct and difficult) and showing unedited footage. Goes a small small way of increasing trust and on the minor positive: I think they fronted up well and gave some answers BuT they were always gonna be limited in terms of the information shared with regard to the Jones situation at this point. Like other posters I didn’t think the answers gave much new information but I think they were surprised at the depth of feeling and anger. I don’t have much to add that hasn’t been discussed already but I did catch “Rasmus say about making a mistake in buying a club in turkey under time pressure so they let it go” did this refer to Goztepe? Do SR not own it anymore? Has the multi club model strategy changed? I thought it was a big thing for a throwaway comment… so what have I missed?

Cos Nathan made such good use of that break eh?!
-
On the positive side. Nathan has managed to fix that terrible terrible habit that Ralph’s team had of dropping points from winning positions…….. But I don’t believe never scoring or taking winning positions in the first place is a great solution tbh.

Yeah this is precisely why I didn’t. But it would be interesting 😂

Maybe I shouldn’t have made the poll anonymous 🤔
-
Thought it was time for a new poll
-
Well, let’s hope the board can look past Jones’ 50% win record and give him the push. Useless manager.
-
Fuck, I’ve just seen the Everton result 😞 and dyche didn’t even have 6 weeks…
-
Very little quality on show so far. I remember us being capable of playing some nice passing football at times…this squad doesn’t seem to remember how to pass to a teammate.

For a manager with a nearly 50% win record it sure does feel like we lose a lot of games. 🤷🏼♂️ -

I don’t think you understand what I mean. He has been better than Salisu… Salisu has been awful. Bednarek has been meh. Better than Salisu but still meh. Story of our squad. History has shown bednarek to be a limited and just about competent defender on his day. As a club we should be aiming for better if we want to improve our league position. -

I think that’s one of the problems Tbf. He was. And he’s garbage. -

We have so little real quality in the team and that which is good is inconsistent at best. Feeling pretty despondent by it all to be honest. From the shite performances and tactics. The manager who has a 50% win record (you know, with the greatest respect excluding Liverpool, Fulham, villa games.) the beyond shit home form and only topped by the feeling of being constantly gaslit by the club that we don’t need a decent striker. Or a decent goalie that is ready to play at this level. A team that has had its best players sold for years without quality replacements. -
Wow I wish I was this accurate with my lottery picks. but is it better to have an injured ings than to have nobody at all??
-
Or plays one game gets injured doesn’t reappear for 3 games. Scores. Starts next game gets injured, misses 5 games. Scores (rinse and repeat) uses up our wage budget and transfer money and doesn’t deliver the goals we need (but yes, does score 1 in every 2.5 games played) I think this is a much more likely scenario. Good player but not the risk we need to take imho. Unless we can get him on loan.
-
Get In! I saw the line up and was a bit worried. Just as I tuned in (late) we conceded. but fair play to NJ good second half. Good subs. Thought alcarez looked a little lost at times but to be expected. Helped out defensively though. DCC and JWP immense.

I have to say. It’s been a fantastic performance today. Not scrappy. We’ve totally outplayed city today. -

Elyenoussi gets a lot of stick on here. But he’s an honest player who tries hard. In a stronger midfield and a slightly better team that accounts for his limitations - I think he’d do pretty well. -

In favour of balance. That half has been good. A world away from forest. Better attitude and tactics. They look like they’re playing for him. I hope they translate this to the league. -

Be quality if it was caught live on sky and he was questioned about it post match. “why were you on your phone Nathan?” “well I had to post on the saintsweb forum and, with the greatest respect, stick one to the daftees on there doubting me” it might be enough to make me like him a touch. (Almost)
